Loved him out of Tennessee. Learned my lesson. Have to imagine he made an offensive role a priority.

LOL he came back?

Can't say how he'll do as a receiver in this offense, but his returner skills are welcome. Richard did a solid job, but Patterson is damn good.

Like it. Need some speed at wr and he'll help the return game.

If ever he were in a position to thrive, this would be it.

Solid 3rd/4th WR. Awesome gunner on special teams and dangerous return man. Nice pickup by Oakland.

as long as they don't try to thrust him into a mainstream offense role, i think he'll work out nicely as a super role player

Like it as a 4th WR and STer. Basically can do some of Holmes' old job and spare Richard getting hit on returns.

I feel like Minnesota didn't do too good of a job developing him. He showed some things his rookie season then just regressed into terribleness on offense. He won't have the pressure and spotlight on with the 3C's running the show so it's interesting to see if he can step up his game..

Great gunner, kick returner, and adds some serious speed to our O. I love this signing.

Per a league source, Cordarrelle Patterson got a two-year deal from the Raiders, which can be voided to a one-year deal.

Wanted him back. He played very hard last year, though I am suspicious it may have been contract-year work. He's had a lot of work ethic problems, so be wary as he may go lax again.
