So I just finished a GM mock draft and was wondering what everyone thinks. A few notes:

1. No free agency - if the FA to be was on your team when the mock started, they were still on your team in the mock. (i.e. I still had Jared Cook)

2. Trades were the only way to pick up new players before the draft.

3. No salary cap/salary was considered.

4. After the draft there was a waiver claim period. As teams cut players those players were available to add after the draft. If you see a player on the roster who wasn't drafted or traded for, that is how they were acquired (includes UDFA)

Here is what I ended up with at the end of it all, thoughts?

I feel I got some serious steals...

It was just too crazy .. the trades make it a total non starter.

Yeah, I guess that was part of the rules .. just too unrealistic for me to get into. Perhaps tha'ts why nobody responded?

Solomon Thomas is an OLB in our system.

how did you end up with 14 rookies?

I do like Ethan Pocic

Thomas played DE at Stanford and if he could add 5-10 LBs I think he could put his hand in the ground.

I could have just sat back and made a trade or 2 and kept our picks and drafted...but where would the fun in that be? Dancing

People taking it seriously and responding (like you wanted).

Yeah just the way the rules are made it silly and almost nonsensical so nobody is going to care. The only people that might care are the other people that did it so you can compare to each other to see who did well/best/etc.

IDK why they made the rules that way, it's weird.

Yeah, I'm not here to rain on your parade, I just don't care about mock drafts that include trading major centerpieces of the team.

I mean, what on earth do you gain by trading Bryan Bulaga?

Fabian Moreau, something I wouldn't mind happening in real life. I'm sorry but Bulaga is not a "centerpiece".

Honestly I don't think anyone cares all that much about anything on this site, it's just a bunch of fans pontificating and having fun.

No one on here has an "inside scoop", even if they think they do.

Trading players not on the team makes this exercise senseless doesn't it. You don't draft a RB, you trade a starting OL after losing 2 already. Silly stuff
