We need a swing tackle fairly badly. In a year or two, Ramczyk can claim one spot or the other.
Davis is a beast, but stiff and not instinctive compared to Reuben Foster or Zach Cunningham.
Ogunjobi is probably a dream here. He is not sliding and may be rising. If not available, say Carlos Watkins.
Sutton is a nice true CB who is a tad short. In a deep class, maybe he lasts. Also consider Rasul Douglas to play FS.
Ka'aya is my preferred QB for our system. He could go anywhere from 3rd round to 6th.

I wouldn't mind an upgrade at swing tackle. But Fisher and Schwartz are both signed for several more years. I don't imagine either one suddenly getting worse. An OT early is a wasted pick barring injury. I'd rather we take someone later and draft a future replacement in a year or two.

I'm probly in the minority here but I would actually be more comfortable with Davis than Cunningham.

Nope, well maybe. I'm right there with you though.

I'm not. Cunningham is a 1st round talent. Davis is second rounder and slipping. Cunningham's problems are coachable. You cannot teach instinct.

Agree. I do believe we need an OG now tho, considering injury already last season. I'd like an upgrade to Fulton.

You don't take a swing tackle in the first though, especially when you have 2 good guys locked up.

I could see it if he could fill in at OG, but he doesn't offer that versatility.

umm no Davis actually up in last mock on nfl network. Actually had raiders getting him before us at 24.

It's been a YO YO. Davis was down to 51 on NFLDraftScout.com until recently. Now he's ahead of Cunningham, but in reality, they're pretty evenly matched.
I'm intrigued with how high H.Reddick has gone. He's top 15 material now and probably out of reach for KC.

yeah, pass rushers always do though. will be interesting to see if we really pull the trigger on a developmental QB at 27 this year though with what I think will be some elite players falling to us and still being on the board when we are on the clock...

My top ILB outside of Reuben Foster is TJ Watt. If you watched him at Wisconsin he was very natural standing up and in coverage. I googled the idea and apparently quite a few other scouts agree with that assessment after his combine/pro day drills.

Barring injury TJ Watt is one of the most can't miss prospects for the Chiefs, worst case scenario is we have another talented pass rusher.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000793208/article/what-we-learned-from-wednesday-pro-days-watt-could-be-ilb

As far as drafting a QB...I think it's very tempting if we can get Trubisky, Watson, or Mahomes but all have question marks. I would be more tempted to use our first pick as trade bait for a potential top first round pick next year in a stronger QB class at the top. I also like Brad Kaaya if he can be had in the 4th round.

Saturday night boredom.

1.27 TJ Watt, OLB, Wisconsin
2.27 Adoree' Jackson, CB, USC
3.27 Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida
3.40 Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson
4.25 Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
5.26 Connor Harris, ILB, Lindenwood
5.36 Carroll Phillips, OLB, Illinois
6.32 Travin Dural, WR, LSU
6.34 Ben Braden, OG, Michigan
7.27 Alek Torgersen, QB, Penn

I think I've converted to the belief of us needing to draft TJ Watt in the 1st.

The only pick I'm not sold on is OG Ben Braden. But that's only because I haven't/won't research OL.

Gil Brandt, NFL.com
Listing TJ Watt at #60.

Some others I was interested in; Trubisky/8, Watson/9, Mahomes/18, Josh Dobbs/82
Jarrad Davis/20, Haason Reddick/37, Jordan Willis/40, Zach Cunningham/46
Malik McDowell/45, Alvin Kamara/78, Shaq Griffin/93 (NFLdraftscout 300).
Antonio Garcia/130,

27) Zach Cunningham OLB Vanderbilt
59) Davis Webb QB California
91) Isaac Asiata OG Utah
104) Sidney Jones CB Washington
132) Samaje Perine RB 8 Oklahoma
170) J.J. Dielman OT Utah
180) Tanoh Kpassagnon DE Villanova

All of these are hopes rather than expectations. There is a reasonable chance that any of these players slides to the pick. It is very improbable that even half actually will be available as shown.
