Getting a bunch of texts from scouts at UW & it sounds like Sidney Jones suffered a significant lower leg injury. Feel terrible for him.

I think you can cross him off the board at 10 if it's as serious as it sounds.

That really sucks for Jones. He was the Corner i wanted to replace Gilmore. He goes from a borederline top 10 pick to probably 2nd to 3rd round pick. Lost a lot of money.

And on top of all that, it's reported to be an achilles injury. One of, if not THE worst injury for a corner. Really sucks for the guy.

I like the rankings thank you for posting them. Much appreciated!! IMO I'd go with Mike Williams at 10 if he is there.

I think my ideal first 2 rounds would be (and I know this won't be a popular opinion)
1 - Peppers
2 - Smith-Schuster or Samuel

Dynamic playmakers on both sides of the ball, and positions of need.

Suggest adding:

WR - Isaiah Ford - VA Tech & Chad Hansen - Cal
CB - Cameron Sutton - Tenn
I would look at Kevin King at FS and think he'd be better there than at CB.
I would separate the LB's and look at Tim Williams at OLB due to his very light weight and then add...
OLB - Devontae Fields - Louis, Carl Lawson - Auburn, Tyus Bowser - Hou, & Joe Mathis - Wash
T - Zach Banner - USC
QB - Nathan Peterman - Pitt & Davis Webb - Cal

I'll do that! Great suggestions. Both Webb and Peterman are in my top 10 at the position.

You might not see Cameron Sutton in my rankings at the end of it. Do not like him much at all. Another poster on the forum highlighted some major flaws, he's very soft and a pathetic tackler. I want no part of him.

I'm a big Godwin fan (albeit biased, being a PSU alum and living near State College PA). He has the size, underrated athleticism - both strong and fast with size, and great ball skills. In my opinion, he is a better prospect than Allen Robinson was 2 years ago. Even if he is grading as a late 2nd, he is still a steal in the early 2nd.

Even with with the Hyde/Poyer signings, we still have a need at S and also at CB with Gilmore's departure.

1st: one of Lattimore/Humphrey/Hooker/Adams
2nd: WR-Godwin
3rd: best available CB/S/OT

I would love to trade back from 10 and be able to pick up another 2nd rounder to pick up Sidney Jones with one of them. I feel we can still draft either Jabril Peppers, John Ross, or Corey Davis going back to the 16-20 range.

Round 1: WR Corey Davis

Round 2a: Zach Cunningham

Round 2b: Sidney Jones

If his injury is what I think it is he won't be drafted until day 3.

He tore his achilles, however teams may risk taking him in round 2 or 3 like the two linebackers were taken last year with jags and cowboys. I could see a team like the browns spending one of their picks to reserve him for future if they were smart but then again it is the browns. If the bills had a shot at him day 3 I say risk it and take him it is better then taking a guy who may not even make the team due to lack of talent.

At this point I would be happy with Hooker, Adams, Davis, Williams at 10. Lattimore seems to get injured alot so I am not sure if I would be okay risking it as the bills need guys to be healthy but I could be wrong. If those guys are gone I hope to trade back pick up a few picks and land OJ Howard. Bills need offensive weapons if your committing to Tyrod give him the weapons he deserves. Not a fan of peppers he isn't special and he is a tweener LB/S much rather have a guy who is a legit Safety then him.

Of course this will all change if they pick up players in free agency.

Mike Williams with a good pro-day performance, might go as high as 5 now. Think he's our pick if available.

Some scouts disputing his 40 time.

Quote:
According to a scout at Clemson today-- Mike Williams ran 4.58 & 4.56
