The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve signed WR Keshawn Martin to a contract on Saturday.

Martin, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Texans back in 2012. He spent just over three years in Houston before he was traded to the Patriots a few weeks into the regular season.

26 yr old from Inskter. Played all 16 games for Houston for 3 seasons before going to New England. Also was a factor as a PR and KR in Houston.

Possible role that Roberts played. At the least a decent camp body still young enough to get better. Could he catch 30 balls for around 300 to 350 yards and 3 to 4 touchdowns yes and could he return punts yes. Another smart signing to create competition and depth. Competition breeds excellence.

Meh. Camp body. I would be surprised if he makes it out of camp and if he does he will be a #5 receiver. Not a bad move just don't expect much.
