It's on Twitter. It happened.

Just when I was doubting Jon Robinson, he comes through huge.

Sarcasm? Or Optimism?

So we cut Woods and signed an even worse player to a 3 yr deal. Yep, can't get behind this one at all.

Sorry 617, I deleted your thread since this one had posts. Admittedly, most of them are mine, but it's done and there's no going back.

I've made my thoughts on Cyprien pretty well known, but this one has me so much more baffled than that one.

Its hard to fully gauge this move until money comes out. If we pay him more per year than Woods was scheduled to make this year, it's a head scratcher... to put it extremely nicely.

Still hoping this is just a rotational move. It seems he was more highly regarded after the '15 season... was often cited as the reason the Broncos were able to let Knighton go a couple of years ago, and as a player that would pick up the slack after Jackson left last year. He obviously regressed last year, but I wonder if just too much was placed on his plate.

Either way... if the money ends up surpassing 4M per significantly, its going to be a move that's scrutinized heavily... and will continue to be so until he proves otherwise on the field.

Confirming DT Sylvester Williams has 3-yr deal w/ TEN. DEN offered multiyr deal. He asked to return on 1-yr deal. Didn't work out. #9sports

Seems weird.

Denver offered him a multiple year deal, he asked for a one year deal. And then came to the Titans on a 3-year deal?

Denver might not have offered him as much on that 3 year deal, and he's closer to home(Missouri) here.

I don't really know anything about him. I saw he was a former first round pick.

I wonder if he is someone Robinson liked in the draft and thinks he might see some of what he saw years ago. Otherwise, I think Woods did a decent job and I'm not sure why were would let him go if we're giving Williams more money.

No need to worry, JRob craps gold and walks on water. We should not doubt his genius.
