I don't like this hope he is a camp body. I would rather have Folk. Chandler has a weak leg and struggles with kicks from 45 and up.

I like this signing. If Catanzaro gets rid of the yips he had with extra points he can be a pretty good kicker for the Jets at 26yrs old.

Camp body. Mediocre kicker.

Patriots are out there getting Gilmore, Ealy, and Cooks.... and we got a kicker. Laughing

In all seriousness, he's not that great. This just looks like a camp body to me, I think we will end up with a rookie kicker this year.

Cat is an NFL kicker, not a camp guy.

75% for 2016 and 4 missed XP's says otherwise.

Yeah he's not good, I don't know why anyone would be excited about this.

His first 2 years he was pretty good 88% and 90% are pretty good FG %'s. He also hit a 60 yarder last year so he clearly has some leg.

I wouldn't say he's not good. I don't know many kickers anyone would really be "excited" about. He's a kicker, I don't have a whole lot of thoughts other than that. Just hit kicks consistently inside 40 yards and then after that Hopefully misses aren't too often.

To be fair, he was good his first 2 years. Cimini dropped the stat today that he was actually better on the road than he was at home in that Dome, which is kind of weird.

We need a kicker so it's not a bad move but I still think we bring in another kicker for competition. Probably an udfa.
