Cowboys' 1-year deal with DT Stephen Paea is for $2 million, per source. Fills a need at a low cost after losing Terrell McClain to Redskins

Wanted Smite back, but I don't think he is $3m better than Paea. Paea did very well his last yr under Marinelli.

So with Carroll signing is Mo or Carr gone?

Like the contracts. Paea replaces McClain. Williams has similar production to Stills over the past two years but we paid a fraction of the price

Man, Dallas is busy...

Camp body, shot in dark signing... Surprised by this one.

Add another to the list of Cowboys deals: defensive end Damontre Moore, a former third-round pick, has agreed to... http://es.pn/2mRA1OB

Moore has some potential...but not getting my hopes up of this being anything more than a depth signing, at best.

It's all for not anyway. Barring a rash of injuries the Pats are winning again next year. I like the moves they've made. Cooks, Gilmore, Ealy. They've added good young talent. Gronk will be back. Thanks for coming out rest of the league.

$4M is more than they paid Mo Claiborne to be CB1 last yr. this is as big as Dallas goes in FA these days.

Yeah...so I guess Mo's gone.

Losing Mo means very little because he was never on the field, anyway. That being said, Carroll sucks.

Carroll isn't great, but has more picks (3) than Mo/Carr combined over past 2 seasons. Also, nearly same amount of PD at 20, compared to Mo/Carr's 25. That may be more of an indictment of Mo/Carr, but is something to work off of.

For $3m/yr, Dallas did alright.

Remember WH, we let Mo walk and cut Carr then signed Carroll last year in FA when we were doing the TCMD? So we get most of the credit for this move.

Billings* joke

Laughing Yes we did. Well done. We got our man.

To be honest I like what Dallas has done quite a bit considering their cap situation.

TWill is a steal at $4m/yr. Stills/Woods went for twice this and Williams has outperformed them for most part.

Carroll = Mo, maybe a slight downgrade talent wise, but a huge upgrade health wise.

McClain would have been a nice re-sign, but if Paea plays like he did last go around, Dallas is in terrific shape. McClain is not $3m/yr better than Paea.

Moore, I don't expect much from other than a camp body. He is only 24, so maybe he has matured. Doubt the contract is very big. Low risk.

But OMG when he was last year.

It really does suck what injuries did to him. He had shown every ability to be a Top 5 CB in the league this year.

And they traded a 7th for Dwayne Allen. He's going to kill it there. I bet he has 10 TD next year.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic I'm just really impressed with what the Patriots have done.

Cowboys v. Pats Super Bowl, Dak & Zeke upset the Pats chances at a 6th Super Bowl ruining Brady and BB's retirement party and usher in another Cowboy dynasty.
