80 will always be Perillo to me.

80 = James Lofton Cool

nah, 80 = ahman green with a pinched uni

You're all wrong. Derrick Mayes IS and will ALWAYS be #80 in green and gold.

Jermaine Gresham's deal with #Cardinals is finally in: 4 years, $28 million with $13 million fully guaranteed. Another $3.5M gtd for injury.

Packers deal with Bennett continues to look better and better

Wow, not bad. Russ solidifying his reputation as one of the best in the business.

Its like they had Cook on one line and Bennett on the other. Cook's agent tried to play hardball and Russ told him they were going through a tunnel and hung up on him.

Totally not comparing the two, but I kinda liked what I saw from Doyle this year.

But yes, it's a pretty great deal.

I just really want to be a fly in that room sometimes. I know Bennett has had some character issues in the past, but I would take him EASILY over those other three TEs. Heck they are probably only 4-5 TEs in the NFL I would take over Bennett.

The only thing I can think of is that the character stuff drove it down a little and he just wanted to play with a stud QB, I guess?

You hit the nail on the head there...he really wanted to play with Rodgers in Green Bay. Smile

I don't think Marty B has character issues. I think he is outspoken and marches a bit to the beat of his own drum. But he is a high class citizen. He just might not fit into all of the structure and rigidity of every NFL team.

Frankly though, if he can play for the Pats, he can play anywhere.

Well whatever the hell you want to call them....you get the point. I wasn't trying to say he's a bad person.

Yeah I think it's important to distinguish between the "not a model employee" guys and the actual character issue guys.

Pretty easy to put those issues aside when all you do is win. Calling your teammates derogatory words is pretty bad though.

Hey anybody who calls Bears that is okay in my book and he will get a chance to do that twice a year for three years.

Marty B has only been on the team for a few days and he might already be my favorite player. Dude has a great character in my mind. A little quirky is all. Just browse his Twitter a bit.
