At what position ? They just spent 2 really high picks at his position in Arnstead and Buckner. Unless sticking him at OLB

I'm going with Mitch Trubinsky, hell get a chance to sit for a season

OLB/Edge whatever you want to call it. He's a freak. Best pass rusher not named Myles Garrett (who knows, could end up being better).

Spend a few minutes in the 9ers forum, seems most of them are highest on him.

I don't see them going QB to be honest. I'm sort of expecting a Manuel/Geno situation to an extent with this draft.

From what I hear (from my good friend who is a lifelong 49ers fan), the 9ers are moving back to the 4-3, which would move Buckner inside, with Armstead at one DE spot. Armstead-Buckner-Dorsey-Thomas would be a solid DL.

My vote is for Thomas as well.

Oh in that case Thomas is a perfect fit for 4-3 DE. Wasn't aware they were switching to a 4-3. They'd have a sick DL.

my vote is for Thomas as well.. can we move on to Chicago, or does someone want to make a persuasive argument to sway us in another direction?

From everything I'm reading I like Jonathan Allen as the pick.

But Thomas is legit also, I won't fight it.

Allens shoulder issues have teams concerned. I don't see him falling far.

And let's move on to Chicago! That will be a fun discussion.

Wow! If that happened, the 49ers secondary would certainly be helped and probably keep the LB's clean a great deal of the time. If your game plan is to start in the trenches, that is one seriously terrific start!

Absolutely, and with adding Malcolm Smith to their LB corps, they are looking at a very solid front 7 (assuming they draft Thomas).
