We give up pick 64 and get pick 72 in return. What a steal.

That's an insanely good deal for the Pats.

I wonder what prompted the Panthers to move him for so little.

The Pats now have 2 of the 9 players ever to record 2.5 sacks or more in a Super Bowl on their roster.

Wow. It's for 72. So we move down 8 spots and pick up a potential starting defensive end. Can't beat that!

Ridiculously good move for the Pats here. Still need to add a veteran end and draft a guy though.

8 spots for him??

Something cant be right... he isnt world beating but he is a useful player, especially considering how much we use a rotation on the line.

So I'm guessing that Ealy is to Sheard as Allen is to Bennett.

What old lady did Kony Ealy push down the stairs we don't know about?

This doesn't make sense.

Think so, yeah. And they could still add someone like Connor Barwin to replace Long. Who knows when the wheels will totally fall off for Ninkovich, he's getting there. Gotta assume at least one edge guy in the draft this year.

Panthers fans are pretty much unanimous in their dislike of him.

Just watched this on Ealy in January and wondered who he was. Great pick up for the Patriots
