The only thing we know about him is that he will be injured at some point, likely sooner than later.

He is a solid starter and better than the losers that the Bears have. The health concerns suck considering the Bears struggles to keep guys healthy.

But a let down based on what they were connected to yesterday.

If healthy, he's probably an upgrade. Unlikely that he's capable to stay healthy.

Breaking news: Prince Amukamara suffers torn tendon in wrist while signing contract with Bears. Estimated recovery time 8-10 months.

Can't really be disappointed with this move as a Bears fan. It's only a 1-year deal which is good. Low risk potentially high reward move.

For what it's worth, he did play in 14 games last year.

Good number 2, sad he is the best CB we have right now. Hope he can stay healthy.

People seem to be forgetting that the Bears still have a 1st round pick on the roster at CB in Kyle Fuller.

Despite everyone's beliefs that the coaching staff doesn't like him or he doesn't fit what they are trying to do, he is still here and should be able to contribute next season when healthy.

With it being a deep CB draft this year Bears can add a guy anywhere in the first 3 rounds and be solid with Porter, Fuller Amukamara, Hall and a draft pick. And then you have Callahan and Leblanc at nickel.

I honestly don't think that's as bad as people are making it out to be.

He had a one year prove it deal last year and didn't prove anything to Jags other than that they needed someone else.

Another one year prove it deal.

He's definitely a Fangio-style CB. Hopefully he can stay healthy because he has a lot of talent.

I didn't forget Fuller at all, I actually like him too. I just feel Amukamara is better and more consistent in coverage than Fuller. He has hands of stone and will drop INTs, but he is still pretty solid in coverage. Health has been his big issue. Fuller has higher upside, but has more lapses in coverage.

Both are better than Porter, as he is defensively the "Good Rex/Bad Rex" for us.

We can add a rookie, but CBs have a rough transition to the pro game. Until I see who we draft, I'm not going to say that rookie can solve any issues.
