Tretter's contract:
3 years, $16.75 million with $10 million guaranteed

Bitonio's total contract (with extension):
6 years, $47.5 million with $23 million guaranteed

Hey Browns' front office, tell us how you really felt about the O-line.

Really good contract for Tretter, if he stays on the field.

I'm happy with all the moves. I don't think we were taken to the wood shed on any of them. Bitonio has proven that he can be a top 5-10 guard, if he can stay healthy, and Tretter is a decent center, if he can stay healthy.

If you want a pocket passer, you NEED strong interior play from your o-line.

One thing that struck me about all these O-linemen that we're accumulating. Pretty much all of them can move well. I think there may be more ZBS looks in our scheme next year.

This! I think one of the biggest problems we have had is our inability to create a clean pocket for our QB. These moves will go along way to aiding the development of whomever we bring in/have playing QB.

I absolutely love what they did here - strongly upgraded a weak position group (and one this draft isn't particularly strong in) in one fell swoop. If we pick well, we can easily do the same in the draft with the DL and Secondary. Very promising game plan thus far, and good execution of it.

I trusted some of the adv stats that said the Browns had the 15/16th ranked OL last year.

Honestly with the moves they just made, the OL could potentially play like a top5 unit.

I wonder if the FO saw what happen in Dallas. Get a legit OL and it could help a young RB and a young QB do great things. Maybe they believe in Crow ( he is no zeke elliot) or they have it in their plans to draft one of the top tier RBs.

Maybe they want to give Kessler all the time in the world so he can throw dimes into the perfect windows. Who knows

I do like the idea of improving the line.

Kessler did very well for a rookie with a crumbling OL getting him concussed routinely. He makes good decisions and has moxie and poise about him. He just doesn't have a power arm.

He strikes me as someone who could do quite well behind a great line.

Couple things. First tretter, Zeitler and Greco can all play center. Great versatility and I love it.

Second you guys are sure to be disappointed if you think Kessler is anything more than a decent back up. I know you want to poo poo the arm strength. But CBs started to time it up the more he played. Once they learn his arm you'll see more picks. He's got nice accuracy but his anticipation was somewhat lacking. For a weak arm you have to have elite anticipation to go along with elite accuracy. Can he develop that? Sure but I don't think enough to be a guy to lead us to the top.
