4 years, $32 million with $17 million guaranteed.

Stupid big contract, imo, but again, we can afford it.

Here's one guy who really liked the move:

I'm not upset with it. He is a big fast downfield threat. I just hope his age isn't catching up to him and slowing him down. He looks like he could be a pretty decent signing.

That being said I don't see him as a replacement to TP. We still need someone like TP who can get a little YAC. My favorite thing about TP was after he had the ball in his hands. Yeah he dropped more than I would have liked to see, but he was smart when he had the ball.

I'll post this in here, too:

UFA WR Terrelle Pryor met with the # Redskins Thursday night but left Friday without a deal, per source.

Pryor is still a possibility for us.

Not a big, stupid contact IMO.

That's #2 money nowadays.

Instant experience to a young WR room and a good #2 - can't complain about this move!

Per PFF

Quote:
Best crossing route runner (min. 10 targeted routes): Kenny Britt, Los Angeles Rams

Kenny Britt was incredibly efficient on crossing routes. He caught 15-17 targets for 224 yards, 2 touchdowns and a 158 WR rating 12 points higher than Chris Hogan, the second-highest player. Ten of his 15 catches resulted in a first down or touchdown, converting 5 of 9 on third down. Britt was very efficient after the catch, averaging 6.06 yards and in the top half of all qualifying receivers. Britt showed the ability to run the crossing route at every level, having an aDOT of 9.12, with his route depth as low as 3 yards and as high as 18.

Kessler had the highest qbr in the league on passing routes last season.

Quote:
A fun stat, via PFF: Kenny Britt caught 62.4% of passes thrown to him last season, which was higher than the completion % of Goff and Keenum

It be a great move if the Browns had a legit #1. A Pryor/Britt/Coleman would of been a nice trio...

This depends on two things

1) Coleman taking a leap forward in his sophomore season and becoming a #1 type threat

2) Britt being motivated. He is the same caliber player as Sanu or Marvin Jones. He is said to be very solid when motivated, but sometimes loses focus.
