Now that we got Whitworth, a great signing and Woods, a decent signing.

Who else should we go after? How much cap space do we have left?

I don't think we are looking at anything major unless Tru is traded. Ryan Groy would be nice as would some depth in the secondary, some pass rush and a couple bodies on the d line but we could get all that in the draft. Also maybe a RB.

I still think we could use another guy on the offensive line and maybe more secondary/pass rushing help. We'll address that stuff via the draft as well.

He would be a very good stop gap guy. Just like Whitworth, Mangold would add consistent veteran presence and it would help teach the young guys how to play the right way while helping stabilize the oline. Goff and Gurley would love him.

Yeah the bad hands is probably his biggest flaw. When I realized how stiff he was as a route runner is when I really gave up on him as a receiver though. Somehow he got labeled as a decent blocker somewhere along the way I'm going to disagree with that as well, however.

It's not all bad though, he's below average as a receiver and blocker but he isn't really terrible at either one tbh.

He's middling at pretty much everything. Decent run blocker (except for last year), decent at getting open in the short to intermediate range, generally bad pass blocker, and inconsistent hands.

Interesting. No signing or anything but it's been floating around with these two

Was just about to post this. Solid signing. As jrry has said, the good teams get guys who fit the system and identity.

Seems like one of those logical fits, which is why I have been sliding him into mocks for a while now.

I wonder if this is the move that forces our hand with the Tru trade?

Ive also been thinking of Lamarcus Joyner, and if there might be a possibility that Wade likes him a a CB in this scheme? If that is true, we would be in a better situation at CB than many of us have been projecting this off season. And possibly looking for a new FS instead of stocking up on CBs

From Field Yates
