This is the guy most on here called us going after. Expected more excitement over this. Laughing

Either way I'm fine with those numbers. He's a great slot corner.

Well hopefully he's able to play more than slot at $10M/yr.

He can play outside too, but he's best in the slot. Not to mention the slot corner is a starter in today's NFL. He'll be playing just as much as our outside corners if he's playing primarily in the slot, so the "10M a year is too much for a slot corner" argument is pretty irrelevant. I'm sure we'll move him around though. He was about as close as you can get to a shutdown corner in the slot though.

I'm not the biggest Ryan fan but he's here now so I'll support him also we really needed a CB and he has tons of big game experience. Let's see what else Robinson does

Cory Curtis is the only guy who tweeted we were actually talking to him at any point today. Other reporters said the fit made sense but no on reported him working on a deal here, etc.

Just goes to show how terrible our local media is at breaking news.

He's legitimately the best we have for actually "breaking" news. And that's only because I think it's the second time he's said a source told him something that turned out to be true, which puts him well ahead of everyone else around Nashville. Laughing

I think Jim Wyatt was the best. But now that he works for the Titans, he cant break any stories.

But he probably makes more money and is happier so good for him.

Solid signing. He was linked to the Titans for a month, so not that surprising. Get some more guys in her JRob.

Could be wrong, but you just seem to not like any Patriots' players lol

A stat 21 is sure to love:

Pats allowed 4.3 yards per carry when Ryan was off the field, just 3.7 when he was on it.

We'll miss him. He's very studious, very disciplined within the scheme, and good at turning the ball over. He'll give up some underneath stuff, but he's a great tackler from the corner position. Expect a few frustrating completions, but he won't get burned, and more often than not, he'll make a momentum-shifting play to get the ball back. He's an ideal #2 who can play inside or outside, and provides tremendous flexibility with coverage packages.

Big fan of this deal. Cheaper than the two big names and a guy who has been a solid player for 3 seasons. Getting him right in his prime is great and if he plays well, he will get a big payday in a few years.

That's about as good as you can hope for in a #2, especially in turnovers. Robinson definitely puts a priority on guys that have a proven track record in that department. In line with his production over potential mentality.

I'm not against adding players that can play the run, just don't necessarily want to sacrifice pass defense to improve the run defense (see: Cyprien, Johnathan). Ryan's a significant upgrade for the pass defense, so being able to play the run is a nice little bonus.

Though that's a real weird stat for a corner, I really doubt his presence was key to that difference (though I'm not going to be mad if it was). Laughing

If you gave me the choice between Bouye and his deal, Kirkpatrick and his deal, or Logan and this deal, I take Logan 97 times out of 100

Take Bouye twice and Kirk once Wink
