My fiancee and I just booked our honeymoon. We're going out to San Francisco. My first time on the west coast. We're getting married in November, a month full of home games.

We are going during the bye week.

Ouch. No chance to go on another week?

The Dear Hunter...not bad. Sounds a bit Opeth-esque.

No, unfortunately we each switched jobs and have very limited vacation time, so we're doing this the Saturday before Thanksgiving through the Friday after to take advantage of only missing 3 work days.

Hm... is it too late to ask the NFL to reschedule the 49ers bye-week? This emergency is certainly big enough for them to move it.

On the other hand if we are bad next season at least you don't have to watch it live from the stadium Razz

Haha, I said the same thing when my fiancee expressed sadness for me. We are going to catch a Sharks game, though, so...it's a nice consolation prize. Besides, I know someday I'll make a trip out west solely to see a 49ers home game. I don't know that I would do that solely for the Sharks, so this works.

Digging on both these guys currently, but I remember hearing their first songs and stopping what I was doing to note the artist to make sure I heard more.

I'd have to say, the only one of these four that I found myself appreciating as above meh.. was the 3rd link. His gravelly voice was good, but came close once or twice to getting too.. something not good. Overall, I liked that one though, and am generally impressed with musicians that can show that level of.. rhythm and multi-tasking? lol

The other ones were far from bad.. but I wasn't into the high tempo (or interesting but odd voice) of the first two links.

Wasn't throwing them out for everyone to enjoy, but maybe to get a taste of something they hadn't wrapped their ears around. The third track...Shakey Graves - Roll the Bones - Audiotree Live is one of my favorites of his. The rest of that session is somewhat repetitive, being a one man band, but solid none the less.
