Alright, since we are getting close to the start of FA I'm going to post a bare bones Mock and then I may try to update when time permits.

2 Things to Note

*I will try to update the profiles for both the outside FAs and DPs
*I used .7 as the 2017 cap multiplier to prove a point about our cap space (it's a bit high and the Packers average is closer to .61-.64 of the AAV in terms of a cap hit in the 1st year of multi-year contracts).

Free Agency

Packers re-sign Nick Perry @ 5 Years 60 Million (.7 x 12 = 8.4 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers re-sign TJ Lang @ 3 Years 26 Million (.7 x 8.6 = 6.0 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers re-sign Jared Cook @ 3 Years 16.4 Million (.7 x 5.47 = 3.8 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers re-sign Eddie Lacy @ 1 Year 3.0 Million (3.0 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers re-sign Datone Jones @ 1 Year 2.5 Million (2.5 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers will also re-sign both Don Barclay and Jayrone Elliott at/near vet minimum

Packers sign Davon House @ 2 Years 7 Million (.7 x 3.5 = 2.5 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers sign Kayvon Webster @ 3 Years 9.6 Million (.7 x 3.2 = 2.3 2017 Cap Hit)

Packers sign Sen'Derrick Marks @ 1 Years 2.5 Million (2.5 2017 Cap Hit)

Wow. Love it all.
I don't think they will land both House and Webster, but man, it would be nice to see those two signed for less than what one top corner would cost.

Love the draft too. I think there will be other players in the second round better than Bucky, but you cannot ignore his athletic ability. I was thinking more OLB there, but you got one in the next round.

Love the thought you put into this.

Why do people like Hodges? Out of curiosity.

I'd be happy with most of this. Seems like an under-the-radar, TT-esque draft/crop of players. I'll read more into some of these guys but I appreciated the FA acquisitions (small deals, but contributor roles).

That's an awful lot of free agency for Ted Thompson.

It's definitely an ideal scenario, but I don't see us adding three external pieces and bringing back Lang, Lacy, Cook, and Perry.

We'll see. I think there's a decent chance he could be there for our 2nd, but there's zero chance he will fall to our 3rd like I have seen other sites project.

This is the absolute maximum I could see Thompson doing in FA.

2 Street FAs and 1 Low Level deal for a quality player that's been buried on the depth chart behind 3 elite players. IMHO I don't think that's unrealistic given the contract numbers and our areas of need.

Haven't looked into the TE class really at all, except Howard's ridiculous #s.

Those are some solid results though, too. Just not sure I'd go TE over an EDGE right now as it stands (if one is there). But I never lose sleep over adding additional targets for Rodgers and Mac.

Short answer.

Underclassmen. Elite Athletic Profile: Broad Jump was best all-time for TEs. Former Quarterback. One Year Away from NFL Contributor ("Buy Low" for Ted).

All of the things Thompson loves.

Wouldn't you rather move Randall to Safety than Rollins?
His best trait is as a poor mans Earl Thomas type centerfielder.

Throw out the Jones, House, Barclay, and Webster signings and I'm totally on board as well. Not a Hodges fan, especially that early. I think we should focus on going pass rush there or DL despite the Senderrick Marks signing. I like what you did later in the draft for the mostpart, in particular the Myers and Williams picks. With Lacy coming back and Monty running as a slashing technician, it's nice to stick some speed back there with Williams.
