Schefty reporting Torrey Smith, 3 years/15 mil.

FML if that's it.

Not ideal but he helps the overall talent at WR. This can't be the only FA addition. Price is okay.

Yay a speed guy. Boo a drops guy.

Didn't really move the needle for me, hopefully they're looking for another piece.

Might've lost some of that speed.

Hopefully, we still get 1 of Cooks or Pyror.

If we can get Williams or Davis, then this isn't a bad signing. Smith still has great speed.

Not the idea signing but money makes sense. Also a report they are in play for Alshon. So I doubt this is all they do at WR. I think they sign 1 more and draft 1 more. Personally I'd rather they'd have signed Markus Wheaton for even cheaper, but not going to kill the move. He does enough to be cautiously excited about his addition.

I honestly love this. He was good before going to the abysmal 49ers. Additionally he can stretch the field and is cheap.

Most importantly it makes it that much less likely that we get Kenny Britt.

Britt already signed in Cleveland?

Great another WR who can't catch. That's exactly what we need. He a lesser version (not as fast) of Willie Gault. Having speed is useless if when the ball hits your wide open hands you drop it 1/2 the time. You guys have been frustrated watching Agholor, he's Nelsons Brother from another Mother.

The Torrey Smith signing seems to me like the official drop out of the Brandin Cooks deal.

If it was always involving pick #14, that's about the only thing I like about this signing then.
