RB Eddie Lacy visited Sea (his new team), Minn and GB in the last wk. For one of the three teams Lacy weighed 267. Listed last year at 234.

Didn't Lacy realize teams would find out? Seattle is a great city for food. Might get himself in trouble. _________________

Great is an overstatement...I'd make the argument that Minneapolis is significantly better for food than Seattle. Of the 3 options, Minneapolis is, by the far, the place where he'd get in the most trouble. He'd have been the food version of JR Rider. _________________

$5.5M is a lot of money for Lacy. That means AP is going to be looking for $6M+. No thanks. _________________

I would pay Adrian $6M. He's a proven commodity, unlike Lacy. But, in the end, I think I may still prefer Latavius Murray over Adrian right now. Like others have said, Murray's experience in the shotgun is a little more beneficial to the team in its' current form, than what Adrian could provide.
Adrian may need to go somewhere where they may be more flexible at this point to how he is most successfully used. _________________

Seattle, who had visits with both Lacy and Peterson, chose a 270 pound Lacy over Peterson. Very telling, if you ask me. _________________

Kind of staggering when you put it that way. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

Jeff Darlington @JeffDarlington
Sources: After spending 2016 with Vikings, tackle Andre Smith will rejoin Bengals, where he spent first 7 seasons. He has agreed to terms.
Hopefully they spent big on him. _________________

No need here, fine with him moving on. _________________

I would like to see Zack Brown. Good coverage LB, and allows Barr to rush the QB more then dropping back into coverage _________________

Teams he visited should have asked him to step on the baggage scale at the airport when he arrived. It could have saved them the cost of a hyuuuge dinner. |

I personally believe that they thought Lacy and Peterson are essentially interchangeable pieces but Adrian (as he is want to do) has a bigger asking price. _________________
