Dianna Russini‏ @diannaESPN
Wide Receiver Ted Ginn Junior is signing with the New Orleans Saints per sources

There were rumblings early on about coming to MN to reunite with his old WR coach.

A rare player-for-player trade reportedly could be coming when the league year starts this afternoon, although it’s a trade that would require the teams to overcome some significant hurdles. Dianna Russini of ESPN reports that the Patriots are considering trading cornerback Malcolm Butler to the Saints for receiver Brandin Cooks.

Cooks would be amazing in NE, and they can afford to trade Butler if they are signing Gilmore

Anybody can say what they want about the offensive line, QB situation, or whatever in Minnesota but at least we aren't a pure dumpster fire like the Redskins this offseason.

speaking of this... he can't really hold out can he after he's been tagged, can he?

nor is the possibility of improving the Saints any threat to NE.

he could refuse to sign the tag and not play, but that wouldn't gain him anything.

he will just earn his $25M (poor him!) and hit the market next year (they can't tag him 3 years in a row)

He can refuse to sign the franchise tag and hold out.

something is really messed up in WASH, he could just sit out.

I wouldn't, that's just too much money to give up....

Fact is this is two years now he has been tagged. It's such a risk for him.
I'm sure he wants a long term deal. What happens if he gets a freak Teddy injury now, or his play with every single Washington Player leaving downgrades and now his market value goes down.

I'm sure if he signed a deal he would get more than $25M guaranteed.

If we sign Luke Joekel, DJ Fluker, Chance Warmack, and Jonathan Cooper at least one of those guys would have to pan out right?! You would think they could all be decent backups at least. Lol

In all seriousness though is Luke Joeckel an option at either tackle spot? Why did he struggle? Could a scheme change help him?

He belongs in a ZBS scheme.

I mean he did have 6 picks last season... I think that's something they are looking for.

Didn't he get moved to guard? I think he is pretty much a bust, worse than Kalil.

Broncos to sign G Ronald Leary to a four-year deal worth $35m with $20m gtd, source says. Big money for a guy once lost in the shuffle.

That is a lot of money for Leary....
