Yes, by the way, Rodger Saffold is staying. He is not expected to be a cap casualty. Rams' best offensive lineman last year.

Just means we arent players for any of the top Guards on the Market. his monies would have been pretty crucial to be able to make a good offer (ontop of paying Whitworth)

Plus Kromer. This is a major upgrade to our biggest weakness last year.

I like that line a lot more just with that signing and moving Robinson to OG. I think Robinson will be very good at OG, so it improves us in 2 positions right away. Just need to draft a center and we are on our way to actually having a solid line.

Along with Kromer and McVay this is a big upgrade. Whitworth isn't known for his run blocking but will be better than GRob was. Also I think it's possible we see Saffold back at RG and GRob at LG. Put GRob next to the vet pro bowl LT is a better move and the experienced G next to Hav.

Saffold is a better pass blocker, better suited for the left side. Grob is a better run blocker, suited for the right side.

This is a nice signing. Tells us that Tru must be on his way out.

Alden Gonzalez‏ @Alden_Gonzalez

Basically none now, but there will probably be some cap casualties today.
La Rams Fan‏ @LaRamsFan9

Yeah but 12 per year? I guess Id pay it too, but I wouldnt be too happy about it.

Also Matt Khalil got 5 yrs 55.5 mil w/ 25 gtd. Thats bananas

Whitworth seems like a steal in comparison.

Was thinking the same thing myself, Whitworth contract looks so much better now.
