Schfter isn't too solid on Campbell yet it seems as if somethings have to be worked out before they get there on a deal. But he did say if he had a guess that he thinks that the Jags will get A.J.

Now he's considering taking less money to go to Denver.

Hope he chooses you guys over Denver. IMO he has always been way more underrated than he actually deserves. He's been the best player on our defense for the last 5 years. The only reason he didn't come back is because Chandler Jones is fixing to become the best player on our defense for the next five years now. And Calais won't fold in. I think he probably likes Florida. Keep in mind he was a product of the U. Proven leader too that I think your defense lacks a little.

Hope he tears it up for you guys. He will forever be one of my favorite Cardinals ever and its gonna make me sad to think of him not in a Cards uniform Crying or Very sad

Me too. I like this signing even better than the Church signing. Typical Tom so far, beef up the Defense first than work on the offense.

On WatchESPN, @JosinaAnderson says Calais chose Jacksonville in part due to Tom Coughlin being in the fold.

Wasn't JUST about the $$...figured this was the case with his age and his attitude on the field. He's a real gamer/cares about winning.

Lol no, he's just being nice. If Denver offers the same exact contract no way he comes here.

Also Premier DL? Nah Good? sure.

Well yeah, I agree...but without Coughlin maybe he chooses Denver at 2M less per.

I thought he was about to do us like Frank Gore did Philly 2 yrs ago.. but i'm glad they got the deal done great Bday presents since my Bday is tomorrow now if August can just get here so I can get this bad taste out my mouth that i've had since 2007 i'll be a happy man. Now we have to start stocking the cabinets with good depth and continue to draft well. Disappointed we didn't get a solid guard but you can't win them all.

The fact he was apparently weighing the two options so heavily...Yeah, he chose the extra money over what he evidently thought was the better situation. If the situations were close for him, the extra Jaguars money would've been a no-brainer.
