Hate to say it, but I can see it. Ben can be buttered up into playing 6 more years by simply fattening his deal and playing with BA, not AB, which is a surprise given the fact the team sunk in $68m into mostly age 30+ year seasons.

Ben's not a team guy, he's a Ben guy. He's a pure coward, basically. Giving up on the team or even threatening it. He can easily be relocated.

I got this Mike Glennon guy ($7.3m cap hit) on a show-me deal, although the contract reads

4 years, $56m
$14m signing bonus
2018 $6m roster bonus
Salaries: $3.80; 10.8; 11.4; $10m

THE TRADE

Ben Roethlisberger, Artie Burns, Sammie Coates, 2018 2nd for Patrick Peterson, Robert Nkemdiche, AZ 2017 1st, 13th overall

(AZ signs Alshon Jeffery to 5 year, $85m deal)
Ben readjusts to best "Brady deal" at 6 years, $93m total value ($50m guaranteed)

Patrick Peterson adds two years to deal and plays (Cap hit $9,090,000) - which includes $18m signing bonus

Now, looking for more defensive help GM Kevin Colbert calls up the LA Rams inquiring about the services of Trumaine Johnson who seems like can be had for a good player and two draft picks.

Al Villanueva, 2017 2nd, 2018 3rd for Trumaine Johnson is a done deal. He plays at ($10m Cap hit) year one.

Heyward
and Pouncey rework standard deals opening up $9m cap space

Pittsburgh goes out and scoops up a little trench work on Kevin Zeitler. A cross-rival all-pro is a punch to the gullet. ($2.6m Cap hit)

5 years, $44.75m
$8m signing bonus
2018 $6m roster bonus
Salaries: $1;6.75; 4;3.5;4
2019 option bonus: $12m

Mike Mitchell, Arthur Moats, Ramon Foster have been RELEASED creating $9m in cap space

Brandon Marshall two years, $10m ($3.7M Cap hit)

$5m signing bonus
Salary: $1.2;1.8
2018 $2m roster bonus

MOCK DRAFT

1) CLEVELAND - Myles Garrett DE
2) SAN FRANCISCO - Mitch Trubisky QB
3) CHICAGO - Deshone Kizer QB
4) JACKSONVILLE - Dalvin Cook RB
5) TENNESSEE - John Ross WR
6) NEW YORK J - Marshon Lattimore CB
7) LOS ANGELES C - Malik Hooker S
Cool CAROLINA - Solomon Thomas DE
9) CINCINNATI - Corey Davis WR
10) BUFFALO - OJ Howard TE
11) NEW ORLEANS - Mike Williams WR
12) CLEVELAND - DeShaun Watson QB
13) PITTSBURGH - LEONARD FOURNETTE RB
14) NEW ORLEANS (via PHI - B. Cooks) - Christian McCaffrey RB
15) INDIANAPOLIS - Garrett Bolles OT
16) BALTIMORE - (trade to WSH)

Ozzie Newsome was counting on shocking the world with a DeShaun Watson move and move past the Joe Flacco fluke-o Super Bowl but the Cleveland Browns had a chicken with it's head cut-off fall on QB so they won a prize with Watson.

Ozzie scrambling sees Kirk Cousins still on his unsigned franchise tender calls up Jay Gruden to get the ball rolling and Gruden would occupy the clock for the next 20 minutes.

"A straight flop of pick 16 for Kirk Cousins and the 4th rd investment pays off!"

16) WASHINGTON (via BAL) - "what to do with Fluke-o?"

REUBEN FOSTER LB Alabama

This one's got a mouth, Cotton'

Thank you, Cotton'

17) WASHINGTON - Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama

1Cool TENNESSEE - "and the telephone rings"

It's Pittsburgh. Yadaaa yaddaa yinz guys yadaa yodaa yadaaa. Primanti's.

PIT trades 2017 1st, 2017 3rd, 2018 5th to TEN for 18th pick.

1Cool PITTSBURGH (via TEN) - Jabrill Peppers DB

Fournette. And Peppers. Can't complain...

Hahahahaha.

Jones' only chance is to go to Tenn. Otherwise he is flipping burgers this fall.
