Brice Butler hinted on his Twitter that he re-signed: https://twitter.com/Brice_Butler/status/839509835368497152

Confirmed it this morning via two sources that he re-signed last night.

Figured that was coming.

I don't mind it, I just hope they aren't going to rely on him being the #2 option.

As the #5 receiver sure, as long as it's cheap. He isn't anything special though.

I'm starting to think we're going to target a WR in the first or second round and then sign someone who is cheaper than TWill to be the default #2 until the rookie finds his way.

Maybe someone like Brandon LaFell or Kendall Wright.

With Marshall being at $6M/yr, Butler better be $2M or less....

Mike Fisher saying it's a 1 year deal. I'll guess 1 year, 1.5 mil.

This is a move that just about all of us included in our mock offseason. So no complaining now. We are losing TWill we need the depth. #2, #5, who cares we need numbers. Butler just turned 27. Maybe a third year in the same offense will help, and 15% of Daks regular season TD passes went to Butler. Plus I'm sure he is cheap, and I am assuming that we draft a WR before day 3 to come in and compete.

He has played above his pay for us, so I am not knocking it. Im just frustrated that the Giants got Marshall for so cheap.. Crying or Very sad

It's a little insurance and a little bit QB to WR continuity for DAK

Brice Butler has a loser mentality and I really don't want him on my team. But he was cheap and it shores up the position a little bit, so I can't be too mad. That shouldn't stop us from drafting his replacement and releasing him before the season starts, cause that money is probably not guaranteed until after the first game.

Progress stoppers are not welcomed here!
