I honestly did not believe it when a colleague brought it to my attention. He is old but still a very nice target for Eli to have inaddtion to Odell and Sterling. Get us a legit LT and we are going to be contenders.

Guys, I have a ton of respect & probably moreso jealousy for the Giants, but do some of you actually believe this is a good signing? Not only is he old and consistently leading the league in drops, but if he was such a good leader as some of you think, would he really be on his 5th team already? The guy is an absolute clown. He wants out of Denver, and then goes to Miami and acts the fool on and off the field. He then wants out of Miami to play with Cutler again, and then doesn't speak to Jay for his last year in Chicago. He goes to the Jets and loves Fitzpatrick only to demand to be released after they give Fitzpatrick 8 digits a year.

What will it be with the Giants? Not enough targets? Too many Tuesday work days so he can't do his TV show?

If there is anyone who could be worse for Beckham, it's this idiot. I hope he puts you over the top of Green Bay, Dallas, Atlanta, etc but year after year he proves to drag his team down, not up.

I'm sure he's coming in knowing that he's old, and that he isn't going to be the top option. That's a humbling experience and I'm sure he's not going to be any trouble.

He's grown up a lot since entering the league. Remember the whole "slipped on a McDonald's bag" situation? He's since recognized and admitted his mental disorder to the world, and has not only gotten treatment for it, but he's worked really hard to spread awareness and support for people who share it. He's not the same guy he used to be. He loves winning just like any other competitive guy does and goes to bat for his teammates regularly, even the terrible ones (seems like sometimes it is especially the terrible ones, ie Cutler and Fitzpatrick).

He drops passes, but he makes up for it in other facets of the game. He instantly is our most physical and biggest WR. He complements OBJ and Shepard perfectly. He's only making $12 million over 2 years. The other FA WRs this offseason are going to make that in 3/4 of one year. It works out well for Marshall as well, since he doesn't have to move his family, gets to keep his broadcasting gig which he obviously enjoys, and he gets to play not only for a winning team, coming off an 11-5 season, but the best QB he's ever played with by a decent margin.

I sincerely believe this is an excellent signing. It made too much sense on all fronts not to happen. Great fit for Marshall and the Giants.

I can't be the only one thinking this now: Christian McCaffrey.

We signed Brandon Marshall and are reportedly either going to restructure or release Dwayne Harris. McCaffrey wouldn't only fill the need as a runningback complement to Perkins, but he can catch and return punts/kicks. It's almost too perfect at this point.

McCaffrey would create a huge matchup nightmare, too. But I'd still rather have Hassan Reddick.

Either way, we need to sign some OL talent. Lang, Warford, Leary, Reiff. Would be nice to walk away with a OT and OG.

Great signing by the Giants, best possible landing spot for B Marsh.

Ignore the haters. Marshall wasn't a locker room issue with the Bears until the dumpster fire flames were 3 stories high in the complete crap show that was the Trestman era. He will have no issue sharing the spotlight with OBJ, he didn't when Jefferey was coming along, and in fact was material in his development (how quickly we all forget).

Worst case scenario is he will lose it if/when the season goes completely off the rails, but 1) he won't be the cause and 2) at that point it won't matter.

Low risk/High reward signing, smart play G Men.

I also like the idea of signing Lacy on a low risk contract. AP looking at 2-3M with incentives. If we could do similar with Lacy..
