We best match that. I'd be fine starting him over Wood (who I've never been fond of).

Agreed. Eric Wood is also a free agent next offseason, so it'd be a very smart decision, and an affordable one.

Based on the lack of loyalty I'd imagine the FO is incredibly open to that.

How much is the deal worth? I didn't see the numbers. Also just a random question, did you see Revis is willing to move to safety? Would you guys be interested in giving him a shot since we need help at safety?

It would be smart to match the 2 year 5 mil to have groy to play back up. It would be a huge mistake to let wood go. An extension should be coming if not now then before next season.

No to revis much rather sign jrius byrd before signing him to play safety

DeShawn Shead is coming in for a visit. Would be a nice add even with his injury.

There are plenty of CB's that have moved to safety and have played well. Our starting safeties last year were former CB's, so I don't think it's a big deal. Plus it would give our defense more versatility in sub packages.

he is the exact kind of stability oakland needs at the LB position.. he will do his job, he isn't to fast, isn't the strongest, but he has a knack for finding the ball carrier, he played well, just as much as the scheme helped him last year.. he started trying to freelance during the last 8 games, and it was noticeable, but had he been held accountable, he would have continued to be a problem.. on top of racking up tackles..

You cant count on combine stats as being quick on the field. Running in shorts in a straight line doesnt mean the same as running in pads while chasing someone side to side. Zach Brown played well but he also missed quite a few tackles that turned a yard or 2 in to 20 yard gains. As you will see if you go back to the 2nd half of the Oakland Bills game you can see some good and bad with him. I think he is a risk taking for the right price but what is being said as to what he wants im hoping bills dont resign him

Bills matched Groy's contract with Rams so he will be retained.

Good move on our part, we have the cap space.

I wonder if we're talking to any of the bigger name guys still available, we have cap room for one big signing. We have $10.8 mil in space if you subtract our draft pool.

Jonathan Hankins, DT (Kyle Williams replacement - an almost perfect fit)
TJ McDonald, S (top of my list!)
Michael Floyd, WR
Jared Cook, TE (think he's asking too much, don't really care for him anyways)

Wouldn't mind kicking the tires of a few of these guys at the right price...

Brandon Flowers, CB
Bradley McDouglad, S
Kevin Minter, LB
