We can begin talking to players tomorrow and can start bringing them to One Bills Drive and agreeing in principle to deals. There will be a lot of rumors in next week so post them here.

Two names brought up is: DE Jack Crawford and WR Kamar Aiken

Kamar was a training camp body here at one point in his life.

Bills placed the original tender on Mike Gillislee. So that takes 1.7 mil away from the 25 mil they have

Sounds like a long term deal is still coming down the pipeline though.

It better. Otherwise a 2nd round tender should have been a no brainer

Only way I want Aiken is on a cheap deal. He's so average, I hope we don't give him too much.

It's been an oddly quiet start to free agency for all teams...

Doesn't look like there's a lot of talent out there. Going to be a lot of teams over-paying on decent players.

Your going to have it quiet for awhile as it is still the legal tampering period stuff will slowly come out and then come Thursday at 4 everything will be put out there for the top tier players.

Bills tendered Groy he played pretty well at times backing up wood. Ik and Colton Schmidt were not tendered. Its interesting to see that all 4 main special teamers may not return next year. I cant remember the last time both kickers, LS and Return man were all cleared out in the same year.

Have you heard anything on Tate? He'd be a good one to bring back. Dude was good on punt and kick returns and we're thin at WR already.

According to The John Murphy Show the tender has to be for their draft round

Havent heard anything on Tate but im hoping they bring him and hunter back those are my top 2 offensive guys i want to return now that Gilislee has been tagged.

hootlander thats correct he has a 5th round tender on him where another team would have to give it up if the bills dont match the contract. It could work both ways for the bills but i think he will end up sticking around as the RB class is fairly deep this year in the draft.

You can tender someone as a 1st or a 2nd or as their original round.

It would have cost Buffalo 800k more to do a 2nd round tender.

Should've done it. 800k is chump change in the NFL. Rolling Eyes

We better get a deal done.

Could the bills be bringing back two familiar faces? Rumors of jarius byrd and stevie johnson potentially making their way back to buffalo. Not sure how strong it is or if its just people trying to connect the dots as both are big needs
