Why do you all think Cook stock went down?

Just because aside from the 40 he tested poorly, I think.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop to late 1st/early 2nd given that he has some character concerns, and didn't really test that great. I still think he is going to be a good RB and think he compares pretty well to a young Clinton Portis.

Let's see... an undersized running back with character concerns who tested average and is allergic to blocking. Oh, and he fumbles.

Yeah. The League is going to jump all over that. Myles Garrett better be worried.

Chris Godwin moved himself from a late 3rd to early 2nd round pick.

Obviously no one hurt their stock more than Reuben Foster.

I remember when I said I wouldn't draft him in the first round because he had major character issues and folks jumped on me.

Welp. Looks like I was right. If I need a LB, I'm taking Haason Reddick or Jarrad Davis in the first round. I'll let someone else roll the dice on a character like Reuben Foster.

Kind of, although I think he helped himself by not hurting himself. He had more to lose than gain.

He did help himself with the combine. With the stigma. He had to prove he is a athlete. He's not going to be given the benefit of the doubt.
Yeah, people like him have been discriminated against so much... Laughing

I still think Teez Tabor did more to hurt himself and just P.J. Williams'd himself. He was considered by many a mid first rounder, I think he probably dropped himself to the mid third.

I would think so too, but I wonder if that 3 cone isn't still going to hurt him a bit.

I think moving from sure-fire first rounder to late first rounder is huge considering the difference between a late first rounder and middle second rounder in this draft isn't that much.

I've mocked him mid to late first this whole time.
I just can't see him sliding out of the first.

White players at skill positions are rarely given the benefit of the doubt. Thats 100% true.

White or black, I don't think McCaffrey surprised many people with his combine performance.

Right, he's an awesome scheme fit with some teams and not really a fit with others. For the teams that would have interest, he checked all the boxes.

Because he tested like a late rounder

I still think he's the best back in this draft. Some team is gonna hit a homerun getting him.
