I wanted to start a Top 3 list for each pick. Guys you hope the Phins target at each pick. Some could be spot on grades. Some could be reaches. Some could be slips.

I see the Phins top needs as follows

LB, DE, Secondary, G

1/22 - Zach Cunningham LB
Hassan Reddick LB
Takkarist McKinley EDGE
No secret Miami needs LB's. Both Cunningham and Reddick had to work for their success. Neither was "blue chip" out of HS so hard work is in their DNA. McKinley is a freak and had crazy speed. Would be nice to see him mentored by Wake.

2/22 - TJ Watt LB
Dan Feeney G
Obi Melifonwu S
Watt would obviously be a steal and I wouldn't be opposed to taking him even if they went LB in the first. Miami needs LBs so bad. Feeney would definitely fill a hole and excels in run blocking. Melifonfu is another freak athlete. Would give the Phins some depth and youth at Safety.

3/33 - Chidobe Awuzie CB/S
Fabian Moreau CB
Chris Wormley DL
Awuzie played CB/S/OLB in college. Poor mans Jabaril Peppers and was highly productive. Phins need versatility. Moreau crushed it at the east-west shrine game. Wormley would be a need pick here. Can play both inside and outside. Not great at either but solid at both.

5/22, 34, 40 Ben Boulware LB
Brad Kaaya QB
Conor McDermott OT
Teddick Thompson S
Davis Webb QB
Bryan Cox EDGE
Boulware reminds me of Zach Thomas. Not fast. Not big. Just a football player that seems to be in the right place all the time. Slide Kiko to OLB and give Boulware the middle. Kaaya needs work but let him sit for a few years and see how this plays out. McDermott is an insurance policy for Juwan James. Cox shows flashes of being a dependable rusher.

6/22 - Xavier Woods S/CB
Dallas Lloyd S/CB/OLB
Ryan Glasgow DL
Woods is smaller but stout and athletic. Would be good special teams guy. Lloyd is 6'4 220 with speed. Add 15 lbs and they say he can transition to 3rd down rusher and or special team contributor. Glasgow is former walkout that earned his way into a starting position for Harbaugh at Michigan. Super intense and works hard.

Great idea!! I like the players you have mentioned. My only complaint is that Haason Redick and Tak McKinley should clearly be ahead of Cunningham.

Grier has stated that the team does Approach the draft similar to this, only that they target five players for each pick instead of three.

I'll post mine soon.
