Now heading into Year 2, Quinn anticipates taking a similar tact to free agency -- picking his spots for the most part, but willing to spend big where he thinks it'll help the club the most.

Who do you want the Lions to go after? How will they help the team? and how much will they cost?

I would love to see us sign Malcolm Smith. Guys a tackling machine. We could lure him in for less than 5 million/per year whereas we would have to pay 13+ Million for Hightower.

Terrance Mitchell and Corbin Bryant. They make so much sense in this defense. I also think Duron Harmon could be an underrated pick up.

I'll go the aging vet, short term deals.

Add AP and Brandon Marshal to this offense and we would be dangerous. Marshal can replace Boldin and give us a big body possession receiver with great hands but more upside than Boldin, AP gives us a grinder to pair with Ameer. I know both aren't what they used to be but should come relatively cheap.

Dream free agents? Like, not realistic free agents?

1. Kevin Zeitler
2. Johnathan Hankins
3. Nick Fairley
4. Morris Claiborne
5. Dont'a Hightower
6. Adrian Peterson
7. Zach Brown
8. Alan Branch
9. Brandon Marshall
10. Reinstated Josh Gordon or a medically cleared Kiko Alonso.

Those are my top 10.

Also, we ran from under center when we had RB's. Once Abdullah went down and then even more after Riddick went down we ran more out of the shotgun. Our offense is not strictly shotgun, but it has been more so due to injuries.

Even more when Stafford hurt his finger. A lot less likely to make a finger injury worse catching a snap then it is taking one from under center.

L Murray of the Radiers would be my free agent signing he is young and talented and scores tds inside the 10 he would be an improvement period over anything we got in the back field.

I would draft Peppers period the dude needs to be a LION!~

Was literally just talking to my friend about Murray. I would also love to have LB Reilly from Oakland.

Yeah...I don't see any of the "big" free agent RB's being a fit. They're just too expensive when we have so many other spots to fill. If we do bring one in, I would expect it to be someone older and less expensive.

Murray wasn't great last year and Oakland has a really good offensive line. I feel like he would come here and just be average. You might say that's an upgrade, but it would be an expensive one for a guy that's not really a game-changer.
