Quincy has gone into underrated status in a lot of the national mocks... Most everyone has him falling to the 2nd round, while guys like tredavious white, Marlon Humphrey, Kevin King, Awuzie and Adoree Jackson are all mocked mostly ahead of Quincy. I've got him as my 3rd best corner behind the OSU corners (speaking of which, I could see both go top 10)

I think 2nd or even 3rd round is where he belongs. He's still behind Lattimore, Sidney Jones, White, Humphrey, and Conley for me. I lump him together with King, Tankersley, Witherspoon, Awuzie, and Fabian Moreau.

Hearing Corey Davis will be going in round 2 rather than the first round.

Makes sense since he can't actually work out for anyone and GM's probably wanted to see his 40. I would poop my pants with joy if we got him in the 2nd.

Someone's getting a steal in Tabor. No one even talks about him anymore.

If he goes in round 3, is he still a "steal"?

If he can't run with NFL players, he's going to be very scheme limited.

I think so. With him underperforming at the combine and the glut of CBs, if he's had in the 3rd round, that's a steal for me. He was considered by some as one of the best CBs in the draft. Barely hear anything about him anymore.

40 times are the shiny ornament but it doesn't tell the whole story, IMO. Average for CBs are what, like 4.52-4.57 or something. I think he's fine. Norman ran a slow time too. He's one of the better corners in the league.

People wondered why he played so much "bail" technique in coverage at UF. Sometimes people use that to hide speed deficiencies. Seems like that's the case with Tabor. His instincts are really good, and if he's in a zone heavy scheme I think he'll be fine. Put him in man and athletes at this level will run past him.

Yea it's also used by coaches to let the CB read and react to the whole field. Maybe to try and let good players get better chances to make plays. I'm not arguing for Tabor I just think he's a good CB prospect despite the 40 time and should prove to be good value later on.

Teez's pro day he was actually slower than at the combine. Guy has some serious speed questions probably not even on a lot of teams boards because of how slow he is.

We all overhype 40 times every year. Good and bad times. He ran a 4.62. It's slow but it's not ridiculous. It's worse than average but I don't think it's something that will hinder him completely. I agree with JLash, I think if used schematically he'll be good in the NFL.

How would you all feel if we took Charles Harris at 14?

I think corner is one of the positions where 40 actually matters to some extent. Like do I care how fast an OL is? No. But do I want to see if a corner can keep up with the average receiver on a go route? yeah.
