So many great memories. Sucks that it had to end like this.

Chances another team takes a gamble on him?

Since he gets 6m regardless I'm not sure if he would even play for anything less. So I'm thinking the question is does anyone think he's worth more than 6m

Yea, chances are he'll go to the best team at the vet min so the Jets are the ones paying most his salary.

One of the best Jets in franchise history, just a shame how his career went after his ACL injury. I didn't think his play would hit a wall like it did this past year, thought it would have been more gradual. But because of that it was time to move on.

He's been dead to me since his 1st holdout. Peace money chasing clown. Never wanted him back here.

Yep that's about it for me too. I loved him early on, but then I just wanted him out of our lives. He could have been remembered as an all time great, but instead he'll just be a guy who had a couple of great seasons and pissed everyone off.

I feel the same way about Revis. It was all about the money with Revis.

I personally have no problem when players hold out for money, the NFL is brutal and it's absolutely cut throat. I never held that against Revis, I held it against Abraham because he sat out in a playoff game.

Revis was easily the best Jet player I've ever seen, his 2009 season was one of the greatest seasons I've ever seen from any NFL player. Father time has simply caught up with Revis and his release was expected.

This. Probably the best ever Jet. Time will heal the wounds and we'll celebrate his HoF inauguration. The best CB I've seen play and I'm delighted his best years were for us. Congratulations on a great career.

I agree. They have to get paid while they can. He was the best CB and football business man I've ever seen.
