We will have 19.8million in cap space if we pick up Tyrod's option.

Kyle is making 8.3 this year, hopefully he restructures.

Sign Alshon, let Gilmore walk, draft Hooker.

What CB can we sign in free agency?

As of right now it seems rather unlikely either Adams or Hooker fall to 10 so I'd look at either of the Cardinals Safeties.

If I'm the Bills I'd focus more on re-signing Brown. Woods, Hunter, and maybe even Douzable as well as Gragg.

I think AJ Klein could easily solve the Bills issue at SLB and A guy like Britt or Wright would be nice depth at WR.

Then in the draft go BPA and likely end up with a top flight corner, Howard or Ramczyk.

Why sign Alshon when we're short on cap and don't throw the ball much? Plus we don't need our #1 and #2 receivers hurt every year.

Because we need to be able to throw the ball more when have a 29 year old running back. We need players that can make plays for Tyrod when he does throw the ball.

Alshon probably costs too much though because I'm assuming we will try to re sign Sammy next year as well.

Brandon Marshall might be a better idea assuming he gets cut. 2-3 years from B Marsh would be nice.

Bmarsh would be nice.. but is unrealistic.. what the hell would he come here for? especially if he gets released and can go to a team like Pittsburgh, New England, or KC.

we can pass the ball more if you like, but it is a forced effort that is going to result in failure. If the worry is McCoy being 29, then we should focus on the RB position, not set ourselves up in cap hell with all these expensive WR's and TE's who don't even get the ball.

I know Shady will hit a wall but the way he stays in shape, probably not for at least 2 years.

We should re-sign Gilislee long term and if we can't then Joe Mixon in round 2 or 3 will be a steal.

You want a guy that punched a woman in the face on the team you root for?

I won't discuss that here. But there is obviously more to it than that. Not to mentioned it was years ago and he was already disciplined by his college team and now the NFL.

A team with a 17 year playoff drought doesn't need the negativity and distractions that come with Mixon.

Our locker room now more than ever needs to be a cohesive unit and you know there's guys in there that will hate Mixon for what he did.

No thank you.

Bills need to be smart amd make cap space so many options to make moves and then go out and retain gillmore and grab a guy like tony jefferson. Bills have a shot at landing one of the top 2 wr in the draft then they do withthe safeties. Corey graham aaron williams marcel dareus and cordy glenn should all be getting redtructured or possibly cut for some of them. Extending kyle and eric wood would also clear cap space for this year and retain valuable pieces for an extra year or two. Dan carpenter is another cut.

So much should have been done right now which worries me that whaley is acting like they are in a good cap spot which they arent. He will probably wait until the first day of FA to clear space rather then find the guys to come in

I don't want either Alshon or Gilmore. It just sets us on a path for future cap hell.

If we are being finacially responsible, signing a WR or CB will be the most pricey. I expect those to be top priorities in the draft. Safties can be had relatively cheap, RT's potentially too.

I see a scenario more like (but not exactly)

Sign: S Barry Church 4 years / $18 mil (projected by Spotrac)
Sign: RT Mike Remmers 3 years / $10 mil
1st rd: WR Mike Williams / WR Corey Davis
2nd rd: CB Desmond King
3rd rd QB Davis Webb

According to spotrac, here are some noteworthy projections. Kind of cool to look at whether they end up accurate or not.

Bills

Stephon Gilmore ($14.7M) <---- Not worth that, imo. Puts him above Patrick Peterson Laughing
Sammy Watkins ($12.2M)
Robert Woods ($8.0M) <---- No thanks.
Lorenzo Alexander ($6.6M)
Zach Brown ($4.5M) <---- Seems low.

Others

Alshon Jeffery ($13.1M)

Tony Jefferson ($5.8M)

Barry Church ($4.5M)

Ricky Wagner ($6.9M)

Eric Berry ($9.1M)

I'd easily give Jefferson 7 a year and Z. Brown 5-6.

Woods at 8m isn't that bad when a guy like Stills is rumoured to get 12 Laughing

Also, I wouldn't even think of re-signing Sammy until he plays 16 games.

No discussion needed. He did it. That's enough for me to not want him on the team.
