Similar to the last mock ran this is a thread to post and update a master post of what you've done for your team. It's helpful for the other users to view easily what has happened and what the teams currently look like. Many of us have tried the War Room Threads in the team rooms, and you can copy paste that over, but not all team forums are interested so this is condensed for participants to easily scroll through. Once we get a post from all the teams that want to participate in this thread we can do discussions easily based off best signings/draft selections/teams and whatnot.

Oakland Raiders

Cap Space:
~13,000,000

TRADE BLOCK

CUTS
Aldon Smith, DE (resigned to vet minimum)
Sebastian Janikowski, K (resigned to vet minimum)
Cooper Helfet, TE (to get 90 man roster)
Ryan O'Malley, TE (to get 90 man roster)
Taiwan Jones, RB (to get under 90, post UDFA)
Jaydon Pickens, WR (to get under 90, post UDFA)
Branden Jackson, DE (to get under 90, post UDFA)
Jimmy Bean, DE (to get under 90, post UDFA)

TRADES
Raiders Receive:Round 5 Pick, Connor Barwin
Eagles Receive: Round 4 Pick

Reasoning: Connor Barwin was a veteran edge rusher that can contribute to our pass rush for potentially another year or two. In 3-4 looks he also has experience, and likely is a superior fit. Worst case scenario I just made a move similar to that of the Raiders signing Lamarr Woodley, but I believe Connor Barwin is likely not a bust. With Barwin, Aldon, Mack and Irvin we will have quiet a bit of rushing talent and another veteran to mentor James Cowser and Shilique Calhoun.
________

Raiders Receive: DJ Fluker, RT
Chargers Receive: Jihad Ward, DL

Reasoning: Jihad Ward was a selection I didn't agree with at the time, and new general manager is bringing in "his guys". This also replaces Austin Howard, one of our offseason needs. I think Jihad Ward still has upside, but I am addressing needs here.
________

Raiders Receive: Curtis Grant, MLB
Giants Receive: Ben Heeney, MLB

Reasoning: Ben Heeney I think has had his Oakland Raiders shot, so I flipped him to the Giants where he can compete for another fringe roster player Curtis Grant at the same position. Grant was a 5 star HS recruit that didn't really pan out at the Ohio State. His upside comes to Oakland with the ability to compete for a roster spot or potentially, if rules permit, become a developmental player on the practice squad.

________
Raiders Receive:
Brian Cushing - ILB
Kurtis Drummond - S
Round: 4th Pick: 24 Overall: 129

Texans Receive:
Dan Williams - 43DT
Austin Howard - RT
Round: 5th Pick: 10 Overall: 155
Round: 5th Pick: 24 Overall: 169

Reasoning: Brian Cushing addresses the need for a veteran leader in the middle of the defense. He is capable of all the mental and leadership abilities we are in need of in the center of our defense and has success playing with fellow trade acquisition Connor Barwin. Like the Barwin trade I view this as a stop gap in an effort to have enough talent for a SB push in a two year window before reloading. Kurtis Drummond was a mid-late round safety prospect I liked out a couple draft classes back that ended up undrafted but has remained in the league. I view him as depth at safety with developmental upside of starter potential.

_______

Raiders Receive:

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - CB
Pick 243

Dolphins Receive :
Pick 208

Reason: Ifo as a prospect before his injury was a top nickel corner, now coming off his second ACL (and irl release) I figured I would place a bet on his rebound and move down a bit in the late rounds to control his contract should he return successfully. When we theoretically trim to 53 players, Ifo will almost assuredly take an IR spot, which is an acquisition with minimal cost.

________
Raiders Receive:

5th Round Draft Selection

Steelers Receive :
Sean Smith, CB

Reason: Making cap room and getting a draft pick. CB will be one of the more likely BPA positions when we enter the clock in the first round and it's a deep class. Sean Smith is a fair starter, slightly overpaid, slightly old but a good couple year plan. If I had been smarter and noticed Tre Mason waiver claim would cost me roughly 4mil I'd have never done that and would likely have kept Sean Smith. For that reason I think the Steelers get the edge in this trade.

________
Raiders Receive:

13th Overall Draft Selection

Cardinals Receive :
2017 Round 1 (Pick 24)
2017 Round 3
2018 Round 3

Reason:Traded up to select our top rated CB on our board to address the most glaring need of our team.

Overall Mock Philosophy: Detroit made the playoffs last year, but in an NFC that's wide open, and Stafford playing at a potentially MVP level before he got injured, the Lions see a window of oppprtunity to build a contender and make a major statement of intent to the league this offseason. Making significant investments in the defence in FA, including calculated risks like Washington, Detroit's aim is to get the roster ready for playoff footbal and transform the culture into one that doesn't just aim to make the playoffs but win the Super Bowl.

DETROIT LIONS WORKING DEPTH CHART (Green is FA signing, Red is draftee)
QB: Matthew Stafford - Jerod Evans - Jake Rudock
RT: Cam Robinson - Eric Winston
RG: Laken Tomlinson - Joe Dahl
C: Travis Swanson
LG: Graham Glasgow - Brandon Thomas
LT: Taylor Decker - Corey Robinson
TE: Ben Watson - Michael Hoomanawui - Matthew Mulligan - Cole Wick
WR1: Golden Tate - Josh Reynolds - Jared Abbrederis
WR2: Marvin Jones - Andre Roberts
WR3: Eddie Royal - TJ Jones - Jace Billingsley
RB1: Ameer Abdullah - Elijah Hood - Robert Turbin - Zach Zenner
RB2: Theo Riddick - Mike James - Dwayne Washington

DT1: A'Shawn Robinson - Tony McDaniel - Akeem Spence
DT2: Calais Campbell - Montravius Adams - Tyrunn Walker
DE1: Ezekiel Ansah - Daeshon Hall - Armonty Bryant - Anthony Zettel
DE2: Charles Johnson - Lamarr Houston - Kerry Hyder
MLB: Daryl Washington - Akeem Dent - Tahir Whitehead
OLB1: Anthony Walker Jr. - Justin Durant - Antwoine Williams
OLB2: DeAndre Levy - Phillip Wheeler - Thurston Armbrister
CB1: Darius Slay - Leodis McKelvin - Alex Carter
CB2: Cameron Sutton - Nevin Lawson - Johnson Bademosi
CB3: Leon Hall - Quandre Diggs - Joshua Holsey
FS: Glover Quin - Isa Abdul Quddus - Don Carey
SS: Tavon Wilson - Miles Killebrew

KR/PR: Andre Roberts
LS: Jimmy Landes
K: Matt Prater
P: Sam Martin
CAP SPACE: Roughly 2.4 million

TRADES
126th pick (4th round) from the Colts for the Lions' Eric Ebron: Ebron is a source of constant frustration for the Lions at the TE spot. His poor hands, lack of red zone threat, and total lack of blocking ability caused him to lose the trust of the new Lions regime very quickly. His tantalizing athletic gifts flatter to deceive, and the Lions decided to go in a different direction at the TE spot, particularly with a nice solid TE group upcoming in the draft.
158th pick (5th round) from the Cardinals for the Lions' Haloti Ngata: Ngata was ultimately the victim of not playing up to his contract in a year when the Lions had an up-and-coming replacement internally in A'Shawn Robinson and needed cap space after major acquisitions to retrofit this defence. The fact they got a pick out of a player they would've cut had they not found a deal was nice. Never can have enough draft picks.

DRAFT:
1st: Cam Robinson projects to be the team's starting right tackle. His power and large frame, combined with his good if inconsistent technique, should be very translatable to the NFL.
2nd: Montravius Adams projects to be a major part of the DT rotation learning the ropes behind Calais before likely taking over next year. His nice combo of power and explosiveness should help him make a strong impact early while he refines his technique.
3rd: Cam Sutton will battle Nevin Lawson for the number two cornerback job while bulking up to an NFL build.
4th: Anthony Walker projects to start in base 4-3 packages, while also given a shot at the starting MLB job depending on the status of Daryl Washington.
4th: Daeshon Hall projects as a rotational piece, but could have a chance at a starting role next year as Johnson's deal runs out.
5th: Josh Reynolds could battle Royal for the big slot role depending on performance. Will get on the field in 4WR spread looks.
5th: Elijah Hood will be a major part of the RB rotation as a power complement to Abdullah and Riddick.
6th: Josh Holsey will compete for a roster spot as a slot corner.
7th: Jerod Evans will compete against Jake Rudock for the backup QB role behind Stafford.
FA (In Progress)
Calais Campbell on a one year, 20 million dollar deal (10 mil base, 10 mil signing bonus): The Lions felt like they had to bring in an instant impact penetrator on the defensive line and they found him in the figure of Calais Campbell. A 3-4 DE, the Lions are confident they can fit his game into a 4-3 scheme and value Campbell's game highly. They gave him a lot of money, and hey, if it doesn't work out, they can let him go next year, no harm no foul.
Charles Johnson on a one year 7.9 million dollar deal (.9 mil base, 7 mil signing bonus): The Lions are extremely excited about their new acquisition of Charles Johnson at a price they consider a bargain. Devin Taylor was a relative disappointment in Detroit, and the Lions decided against giving him starter money in favor of giving Charles Johnson a fresh start in the Motor City while they figure out how to move forward at the DE spot across from Ansah.
Leon Hall on a one year 5.8 million dollar deal (4 mil base, 1.8 mil signing bonus): After a promising start in Detroit Quandre Diggs slipped a bit in his role as the Lions nickelback. The Lions thought they found an excellent fit to complete their trio of defensive players who perhaps need a "fresh start", as Leon Hall would come in to mentor the young Diggs while also providing an immediate upgrade to an inexperienced secondary.
