Dolphins will be releasing LT Branden Albert today, source says. It's Tunsil time there. Adds an intriguing option to the tackle market.

Good LT but nagging injuries the past couple seasons. Worst game was in the playoffs against the Steelers, he looked broken down.

This move will save a net $7.2 million against the cap, including dead money charge of $3.4 million.

UPDATE #4:

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, no trade involving Julius Thomas is imminent due to a snag in contract negotiations. Currently, Miami is set to trade Albert to Jax for a 2018 7th round pick.

If I'm the Dolphins though, I'd very concerned about my interior line. They can move Tunsil (back) to left tackle, but who do they have at either guard position? Anyone?

No. It's the biggest offensive need.

Good player. But even in KC he couldn't stay healthy.

He was always good for us during the six games per year he played in.

Wish him well, but dude just can't stay healthy.

Sounds like how Jake Long was for us.

Jermon Bushrod is the stop-gap RG for now. Free Agency will have some good options at OG in Zeitler, Leary, Lang, etc. Plus there's the draft. Too early to be concerned.

Meh, Bushrod was the worst starter on the OL last season. (Ju'Wuan James in the first few games was worse, but recovered).

He's also a FA.

IIRC, Bushrod was also PFF's lowest rated guard in the NFL in 2016.

Or not. Apparently Miami is rethinking it.

Both Albert and Clady are on the market. They both once looked liked franchise LT's but couldn't stay healthy. Will be interesting to see what kind of offers their names get them. Neither one will probably be available all 16 games.
