Sounds like a solid deal. It addresses our need at Center. Maybe we draft a Center to compete with him, but at least we know we have a starting caliber Center.

It's risky. Somebody will likely throw a bunch of money at him. Plus, in this defense, I think he'd be a name more than anything. We could go with a much cheaper DL and be just fine.

I'd make sure our WR and CB positions are set. I'd be more tempted to go after Captain Munnerlyn (if you're moving Joyner to FS). I think we'd do just fine with a guy like Terrell McClain at NT. If you're not moving Joyner, we could after a safety like J.J. Wilcox.

I'd also recommend paying attention to what needs on other teams are being filled by free agents - it's going to be very telling of their draft strategies (wherein you know that 80% of GM's are going to milk the clock trying to trade back). You don't want to paint yourself into a corner where you have no choice but to fill a starting spot with a draft pick because then you're setting yourself up to reach. But it's helpful to not be in a spot where you're figuring that with 3 guys you like at a position you're looking to fill are available with 6 or 7 picks to go until you're up and suddenly there's a run because "well... BPA."

I like this pick a lot. It's good value in the 4th.

Godwin at 69? How?

Both Willis and him are home runs.
