Browns pulled back their offer, they wanted someone who just went.

So we're almost on the clock at 41. In this mock we have Whitworth and Zeitler re-signed along with LaFell. Dre left as did Peko and Dansby. Our big adds were Hauschka and Andre Smith.

We took Barnett in round 1 but could use more pass rush with someone like Tim Williams. Or maybe Jarrad Davis to replace Maualuga? Or Quincy Wilson or another CB? I think it's too early for a Zay Jones or Pat Elflein.

I'd be good with Davis

Ok. We're on the clock now. I'll pick Davis if a last minute trade offer doesn't pan out. Initial offer was a bit low but I countered so we might make a deal.

We traded pick 41 and 114 to the Broncos for picks 50 and 83. They took Malik McDowell (who I had no interest in) at 41. So we're on the clock no later than 5:20 pm this afternoon. There were several players I liked at 41 so at least 1 will be available at 50 and we moved up from early 4th round to mid 3rd round.

We're back on the clock and Jarrad Davis is still available. So we'll take him.

We now have 2 3rd round picks, the first one is on the clock Friday evening no later than 8 pm, probably a bit sooner.

We're on the clock with pick 73. I'm going to take Pat Elflein unless someone feels strongly otherwise. Our next pick is 83 from a trade with Denver and will be on the clock Saturday afternoon by 2 pm.

We took Elflein. Lots of good players available for pick 83.

We got DE Carl Lawson with our 2nd 3rd round pick. We're on the board next for pick 137 by noon Tuesday.

We could use a CB or RB with the next picks. But fixing the O-line in free agency gives us a lot more flexibility in the draft compared to the real life Bengals who have major O-line problems.
