What kind of trade price would we out on Green? ... I'd say like a 5th?

Currently negotiating a trade to possibly net us a pass rusher

5th at best. Injury history hurts us.

I don't think we let Green walk, despite his injuries fiasco.

This was just one year. Jesse James had shown enough to be a gap stopper, for now, Grimble is still a "potential" tight end to go with Ladarius Green based on the merit he had shown in his duration.

Don't see us drafting a tight end either, perhaps an UDFA.

If we were to trade somebody, I'd say Coates make more sense, he is somebody who probably has more value and the teams need the deep-threat receiver (in case you haven't noticed, the draft aren't deep with deep-threat receivers).

I'd say 4th round should be a good bait, if not 5th and use it to trade up in the 2nd round.

Point being, it's too soon to let Green walk and we wouldn't get anything in return, it makes more sense to trade away Coates.

Texans want to know what Coates would cost?

I'd say no less than a 3rd , he was proving his worth last year and would take a good offer to get rid of him

What do you think of D.J. Reader NT on the Houston roster.

I remember a lot of ppl like him last year, don't know how he played

Is a backup NT worth one of the upcoming deep threats in the NFL?

They have jaelen strong and Braxton Miller they might add one, not sure

They also have Kareem Jackson, might be a solid get at CB at a 6.5ish cap hit for the next 2 years
Maybe we could talk them into a Mike Mitchel + Coates for kareem Jackson + Andre hal

some key notables are

Melvin Ingram - 13 APY
Nick Perry - 10 APY
Alex Okafor - .8 APY (I really liked him coming out of college)
Devin Taylor - .9 APY (I really liked him coming out of college)
Margus Hunt - .8 - would be a good backup 34 DE
Mario Addison - 6 APY - could be a cheaper get , solid pass rusher, can he transition to a 3-4OLB?
Dre Kitkpatrick - 2.5 APY - could fit the zone system well, liked him coming out
Kayvon Webster - .7 - could break out giving the opportunity
Mo Claiborne - 13 APY
Prince Amukamara - 8 - could be a solid get but too expensive for me
trumaine Jognson - 6 - could be the best value
Barry Chuch - 8 - Pittsburgh Native , would love to bring him back, but too expensive
JJ Wilcox - 6.5 - favorite FA safety , good at playing high, good coverage and range and can hit
Terrance Williams - 4

on the trade front Texans said kareem jackson is 1st round value

andre hal might be on the market though, good coverage safety

maybe we could offer Coates + Mitchell for Hal + Strong or Miller?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2698444-richard-sherman-trade-rumors-seahawks-reportedly-open-to-dealing-star-cb?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=nfl

what do the traders here think? I would hope we sign Revis but could we acquire both Revis and Sherman Laughing What do you expect for capscpace?

We need to sign our own players, but I thought I would pass this on since I am not cap space informed and of course we could trade Pouncey to seattle Idea

With Finney and then re-sing Cody, a trade for Sherman for pouncey makes sense.

Of course some here would say trade Mitchell as well, so this thread never tires does it Anxious
