See if you can get the eagles to trade Mychal Kendricks. The real Eagles are shopping him around. He signed a four-year, $29 million extension in 2015.
He is due $4.85 million and he is 27. Would be a good replacement for Timmons. See if they would take a 5th.

Good call. A Kendricks/Shazier ILB duo is really athletic and fast. Kendricks is a really good coverage LB. I would fear about the run stopping power of that duo however.

So I was reading about him and actually he hasn't played well and coverage has been his weakness

I'm open for the trade depending on the price, but I also like what Vince brings to the table and he played well in spot starting for shazier

Eagles want a day 2 pick for him ... I think we'd all agree that's too rich for our blood

Yes. Try to get Timmons at 6M per year would be my first guess.

What is the thought of retaining Green? i am going to throw out some food for thought.

The Steelers carried 4 TEs this year. Green, for the 6 games he was in was a seam threat that James was not.

Jesse James in his 24 regular season games has just 3 catches over 20+ yards, with his longest being 24 yards.

Heath Miller in his last season had just 5 catches over 20+ yards in 16 games.

What did Green do in just 6 games? Hell, let me just narrow it down to what he did in just 3 games, Indy, Giants and Cincy.

All Green did in those 3 wins was have catches of:

37 yards, 33 yards, and 20 yards against the Giants.

35 yards and 32 yards against Indy.

28 and 23 yards against Cincy.

7 catches over 20+ yards and 4 of those were over 30+ yards. He had two games back to back where he had two 30+ yard catches.

The other side of the coin is the injury history. This is also the Best TE class since 2010(gresham, Gronkowski, Dickson, Moeaki, Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernadez, Pitta, Clay Harbor, Michael Hoomanawanui, Logan Paulsen). there are 8-12 solid TEs in this draft.

Personally, I will be looking at TEs on the first two days ( rds 1-3).

I'd say keep green, and Xavier grimble then draft a guy to be that #3-4 with potential

What are we thinking that 3mill from cutting him could net in a mock FA? Maybe extra money to throw at a bigger name elsewhere like a Melvin Ingram if he hits the market

Eagles want to know if we're interested in conner barwin

He'd be 7.75 cap hit ... My vote would probably be no , but want to see what anyone else thinks

Conner is a no unless they would be willing to pick up some of that cap.

Mostly because I think you could still argue him as a situational pass rusher.

Hahahahaha.

Jones' only chance is to go to Tenn. Otherwise he is flipping burgers this fall.

49ers want to know if we have any interest on
Arik armstead - late 1st , early and
Eric Reid - 3rd round value

I'd say no to both but figured I'd bring them and see everyone's thoughts

Pass on both Reid and Armstead... we could draft a better safety in the 3rd.
