I am sure most of you saw this. Thoughts? I would love both signings. I think Peppers can still play at a high level, and allows us to move on from Addison and address DE in the 2nd or 3rd round. Captain of course fills a veteran role at nickle.

This article implies because the friendship with CJ. I do not want CJ back on this team. [/url]

there are a lot of CBs coming up in this draft... I think we can find a guy like Tankersley in the comp 3ed range who would be a great addition over any of the vet CBs.

Guy's who have 1st round grades, this year, will be going on the 3ed day at CB.

Pep... just flat-out no thanks. It's illogical and emotional of me to feel that way... but it's the way I feel.

I can't see us getting either, actually.

I'd be looking more towards:

1. resigning Addison (coaches call him a 3 down DE)... but the market will dictate this
2. Sheard
3. JPP

or Campbell to a lesser extent.

yeah i could care less if we get them, however, i looks like a typical veteran sign we could do with both. and give us cap for OT. we can easily sure of the LT and RT positions in FA, but we wont. then go out and draft a game changer on either side of the ball in the 1st.

I would be on board with both. We needs vets. We need reliable help. Peppers still has some in the tank and Captain is solid.

Also, Bill Voth from BlackBlueReview originally reported this and then David Newton stole it, unsourced. Just FYI but try to not give that dude clicks.

Bill Voth from Black & Blue review is a legend. He is a one man show and I love his site
