If theyd come cheap enough Id be more than happy with a guy like Kendall Wright or Robert Woods to fill that role as well.

Also Shelton Gibson on day 3 would be nice.

I would prefer Woods over Wright just as I did on draft day. I know nothing about Shelton Gibson.

I don't think Woods will come cheap. Wright will, but I'm not sure about the fit. He would basically block Pharoh Cooper. I'd be more tempted to go after Ted Ginn Jr. or Markus Wheaton than Wright on the bargain market because those two can play the deep threat role if DeSean Jackson goes elsewhere (as expected).

If we went Woods in FA and Schuster in the 2nd. I'd be pretty satisfied going into the season.

That would be nice. I'm with Jrry on this one though. If we go Schuster we need to go with a deep threat option in FA or visa versa. I don't see Woods filling that role as a deep threat...Schuster and Woods are similar with their attributes, IMO.

Realistically, Austin should be a deep threat with his speed. He hasn't really shown it since he was drafted, but, he really should. I'd love a Woods signing. I think he is under rated and thats likely because he tends to get injured fairly often. When he plays, he is a solid reliable WR. Much as I like Garcon, I think Woods is Garcon-lite at half the price.

I'm curious s to why you think Woods won't come cheap. He has underperformed for most of his career.

Look at the numbers that are being thrown around for all the free agents. There is so much cap space to be spent that these contracts are going to be just flat out stupid.

Woods and Wright are slot guys. I think we have enough of those.

Both can play the slot. Both can play outside. But Wright is more of a slot guy than Woods. Again, I'm not opposed to either. But if we bring in one of those two (or both), we'd need to draft a vertical threat.

Like I said, I'd be more tempted to do a Wright + Ginn Jr. or a Woods + Wheaton than a Woods + Wright. But I guess it depends on what the new staff thinks of Pharoh Cooper, Tavon Austin, and Mike Thomas.

I think we might be more in the Philly Brown market than the Tedd Ginn market. Would imagine he wants to get back to the playoffs now.

A couple guys I haven't heard anything on that I guess bodes well for us:

Alshon Jeffrey
Robert Woods
Ronald Leary
Larry Warford
Chance Warmack
Michael Floyd
Terrence Williams
Jarvis Jones

Terrelle Pryor's asking price might have come down? Heard San Fran was going to pay him a lot, but with Pierre getting his deal does that mean Pryor is still up for grabs?

Very boring first 2 days, but I guess Tru's situation plays a huge factor in our decisions moving forward. Or we just want bargain deals?

The Rams seems to always be quiet around this time until it's officially free agency then things happen. I'm thinking when 4pm hits tomorrow we will see the Rams making moves.
