I wonder if Cruz will make a roster next season or not. He seemed to be useful this season for the Giants, if not a consistent contributor. That also might have been leftover chemistry between him and Eli though.

Quote:
Former Miami Hurricane and NFL player Leonard Myers is dead at 38 after losing a battle with cancer ... this according to the University of Miami.
Myers was a standout at Miami before going on to win a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2001 ... Tom Brady's first year as the Pat's QB, when the team defeated the St. Louis Rams.

Julius Thomas for Branden Albert. Kind of a last ditch for both teams since Albert was about to be released and Thomas's contract is an albatross. At least this reunites Thomas with Adam Gase and gives the Jags much needed LT help, though Albert has consistently had trouble staying healthy.

I'm hearing rumors of Cutler joining the Jets.

I too have heard that, if so they absolutely need to grab a QB.

This could be the wildest offseason of QB movement. I suspect that the Bears, Browns, 49ers, Bills, Texans, Redskins, Broncos, and Jets may all take a look at QB, and you have the three rookies, McCarron, Garroppolo, Romo, Cutler, Kaepernick, Hoyer, Fitzpatrick, Cousins, and Taylor all as possible fill-ins, backups, and starters.

Im hoping Cousins makes it to SF. I don't know why, but I'd love to see that happen. I guess apart of me is curious to see if he can succeed outside of DC with a less than supporting cast but also re-uniting with a well known coach. I realize its not very likely as the Skins have a bunch of options to keep him around, but still, I want it.

A lot of teams look destined to play musical crappy QB.

Would like to see if Hoyer can succeed somewhere as a serviceable starter. He's flashed some ability and could be a late bloomer.

Kaepernick, Cutler, Fitzpatrick and Taylor are all different shades of bad.
