Hi guys,
I'm going to be compiling a list of the top 20 players in the NFL who appear poised for superstardom and I'm soliciting opinions from every fanbase to nominate a player from their team.
Please discuss the possible players to nominate here. We'll make a poll if necessary.
I'll also need one or two of you to provide quotes explaining why you think this player is a future star in the league, and possibly some videos or gifs of highlights, if available.
A couple of rules for inclusion, however:
1. The player must be on his rookie contract.
2. The player must not have been selected to any Pro Bowls or received any other league awards.
Thanks for your help! |

I, um, kind of already have someone in mind for the Pats, but I'm open to other opinions. |

I'm guessing it's Flowers that you already have your eyes on. Only other ones coming to mind right now for us are Thuney and Mitchell.
ARI- David Johnson
NYG- Landon Collins
MIA- Jay Ajayi
NYJ- Leonard Williams
LA Chargers- Joey Bosa _________________

Oh touché. With some of the alternates we get for the Pro Bowl I didn't know who made it and who didn't. Wasn't thinking to Wiki them. _________________

I'll go counter to the obvious (Flowers) and say Mitchell. I've never seen a rookie receiver do what he's done in our offense, and skill set wise he's the complete package. Route running, explosive in and out of his cuts, good hands, clutch player. Sky is the limit. _________________

He's going to be very good, but the Pats have so many weapons that I don't think he'll ever put up the numbers to reach that level. |

How about Tevin Coleman? Not sure he'll fully blossom being stuck with Freeman, but he's a really exciting young player. |

I don't think he'll ever be Julio Jones, but he's primed to be the headline skill player of the next generation. As much as the core of the 2010-present group has meant to this team (Edelman, Gronk, Danny) two are over 30 and who knows how long Gronk's body will allow him to play. Mitchell could be here for the next 7-8 years, hopefully more, and he's already this good. Tough to say what his future will be exactly, but it's looking pretty great to me. _________________

Someone will pay him like a superstar after the 2018 season, that'll be his make or break. I prefer Freeman though, one of the best one cut runners in the league. Really liked him out of Florida State, to think he went only two picks before Bryan Stork... _________________

Jones is going to be so good, made some rookie mistakes yesterday but he's got all the tools. I think it'll be him and Kuechly as the consensus best LBs in the league within a year or two. _________________

Jarrett yes. Jones I'm not sold on as being a future star. I'm probably in the minority on that one, but I'm skeptical of a lot of those S/LB hybrid types being able to be elite year in and year out. |

How was Grady Jarrett a 5th round pick... How. I remember thinking he might deservedly sneak into Round 1, and we (and everyone) passed him over time after time. _________________

Quincy Enunwa is an obvious choice for the Jets. He reminds me so much of T.O. that if the Jets ever get out of QB hell they'll be difficult to stop. |
