Fact Joe Jacoby still hasn't made it, and they kept TO out, is just insane to me. Puttin' themselves above the game with TO. Especially considering Jason Taylor makes it in first try.

Nice.

I'd switch Jerry for TO and it'd be perfect.

Be one of the most influential owners in NFL history maybe?

I'd ask same question in regards to Terrell Davis. Not denying he was great. But, his great lasted a mere 4 seasons. Not enough, imo...at least not enough to overshadow TO. I get the issues with Owens. But, for a decade he was at or near elite.

Since 96, what has he really done to warrant that besides be the big brash man from Texas though?

The balls he had to do what he did when taking over the team is one thing between firing Landry and the Walker trade, but it's one of those chicken or egg things. Jimmy Johnson was a monster with Miami, came to the Cowboys and got better, and actually had a better win/loss record with Miami then he did with the Boys (albeit, the 89 season tanks it). Regardless he is a HoF Coach. He grabbed 3 HoF players with the triplets, but again were they great because of Jimmy? or did Jones actually find diamonds in the rough?

I guess I can't debate he's a HoFer for his overall additions to the game. I do dislike that he got in while still being active and with the distinctions of being one of the GOATs.

Jerry Jones, Terrell Davis, and Morten Anderson over Brian Dawkins and Terrell Owens?

What a joke. Laughing

This is another reason the HOF is a joke. I'll correct myself with the selection process is a joke lots of deserving people in the HOF.

Has to just be personal dislike of TO by the members. Too many other guys in there who had disruptive personalities. I mean Marvin Harrison tried to kill a guy

So.....like does anyone care about the HOF? It literally means nothing to me. There isnt anyway to justify this class.

Still the player with the most points in the game. Oh yes, he played 25 years, but its only very few players who are capable of that and Morten Andersen has all the numbers to back it up. So does Adam Vinatieri once his time comes.

Most of you most likely don't care, but Morten has been a great ambassador for the sport in Denmark to a degree, where the country that airs the most football games outside of USA, is Denmark.

Should've been a first ballot HOF to be honest. I think these "voters" are just letting their personal disdain for him get in their way of being honest with their vote.

Cliff Branch isn't the only past great who is being repeatedly snubbed (Jerry Kramer for example).
