I mean they both deserved it in the year that they won it but I'm still salty. Rodgers just had to have the best season ever in 2011 huh.

Your guy is a HOF lock and has a ring though.

I know, which is why I'm not super salty. Just slightly. Laughing I would just rather the HOF, ring, SB MVP, AND MVP, you know? I'm greedy. Laughing

Blame it on Sean Payton never giving that man a defense year after year after year after year. It's an absolute crime. I've never seen a franchise rely on one player to get a championship so much.

The only year they had a good defense was the year they won the Super Bowl. And I wouldn't say that was a "stout" defense by any means. Just a very very opportunistic defense.

Better Defenses = Less .500 Records = More years Brees is eligible for MVP.

Uh, 2009 was not even close to our best defense. #24 vs #4 in 2013. It was our best turnovers wise, but didn't even hold a candle to 2013.

That may be true but I think the point of my post flew over your head or you would of replied with something else.

Half of these posts are about Drew Brees. How about you save them for when Brees actually wins an MVP?

Congrats, Ryan.

Except I'm not whining about anything.

Good for him. He had an incredible year start to finish and I am happy for him that he has been recognized for it.

So long as there's not an average kicker who played a really long time as well. Brees may have a battle to get in then Laughing

Why do I feel two NFC South MVPs will struggle and lose in the Super Bowl two years in a row?

Good for him but given how the Raiders season went after he got injured Derek Carr would have been my choice.

No, but I agreed with everything else. Would you rather me say nothing but "I agree" and add nothing to the conversation? Literally every single Saints fan on here would agree with that statement and believe me, Payton (and Loomis) get plenty of blame.

Glad they made the correct decision. If Brady had played the whole season I would say he has an argument, but glad Matt got it.
