So this is real? I watched his "press" conference and thought this was a complete joke. Obviously the press conference was but didn't know he was actually retiring.

He had 3 knee surgeries in 4 years and said he could have played at least 3 more years. This is going to be a trend in the NFL now but damn even punters are retiring early Laughing

The fact that he joined Barstool has to be a gut punch for Colts fans.

I wouldn't even wish that on them.

He is an insanely funny person. I've hung out with him and he's awesome.

Love it. McAfee is hysterical. Every since Barstool started having him on I became a big fan. Good for him pursuing another passion and a huge addition to the Stool.

Man, thats kind of a shocker to me. Fantastic player, I know he's just a punter but he's really valuable to that team. Good luck to him.

What's weird to me is that he seemed so happy that Grigson was gone but now he's not even sticking around.

Maybe Irsay/Pagano was mad at him for publicly coming out and showing how happy he was that Grigson was fired?

Not only that, but you're making those millions kicking a football maybe 3-10 times in a game. I know they kick a ton in practice and on the sidelines, but still it's kicking...

Good for him though. Strong enough to walk away from the money and pursue a goal/dream. More power to him, as most wouldn't...
