As a division rival, I'm somewhat worried... he's had that unit playing pretty well. Thoughts?

Solid hire who managed to develop the saints WRs (Cooks, Snead, Thomas etc.) as their WRs coach, also learned from Sean Payton and Drew Brees a little bit.

He was the offensive coordinator at USC so he has some experience actually doing the job.

It's a solid hire on paper but it probably won't work out cause the Jets have nothing at QB and a ton of issues on the offensive side of the ball.

The only issue, albeit a huge one, is QB ^

And a head coach already on the hot seat.

they have a nice amount of decent to good WRs and a good RB. They need a couple OL. It's ultimately the QB

Could be a good hire but as others have said they need to add a qB this offseason, perhaps moreso than any other team in the league sans 49ers.
