He's a totally different body type to Donald, does all his work with his upper body and doesn't have anything near the trunk and girth. He doesn't have anything the like get off or explosion of Donald either. This comparison is weird. He's way more Joey Bosa or Michael Bennett if you want to give the guy a flattering NFL comparison, a base end who can rush inside.

I can't imagine a worse analysis than this one, its like you just looked at his arms and assume he does all of his work up top, his lower body is just as or even more impressive as his upper body...

And I personally wouldn't waste his talents in a 3-4 but thats just me

Yea he's got a pretty heavy (at least by the looks of it) lower half.

Even in a 34 you're likely in subpackages 60-70% of the time...

Wow, incredible analysis. Stoutness isn't his game, that's not how he wins. No idea what you're arguing here.

I feel like he's top 10 in most mock drafts that I see. Is that not enough recognition? Does he need his own thread? I don't see the problem.

This thread makes it sound like he's not getting first round consideration when he's gone before 15 in every mock draft.

Then you don't read FF mocks because only 5 of the 15 most recent mocks have him in the top 10. More often he's outside the top 15...which is criminally underrated.

Stick him in a 4-3 defense and play him at every position on the line. He's a stud.

If put him on a team like Seattle that would use him all over the line it would be criminal how good he could be. Granted we don't pick until late.

Do you think his frame could fit another 15-20 lbs?

I love him as a 3T, not sure what I think of him as a 5T.

Whats always funny to me, is that Drill to drill, at the combine, he was nearly the same athlete that Justin Houston was at his combine. But he'll play a totally separate position all together. Each drill was nearly identical within .1 seconds and 1". But he's going to play the same position that Michael Bennett does, and I think he's going to thrive there eventually, though he's got some work to do for sure.

His numbers are very similar to Khalil Mack... only difference being Thomas did it was 22 more lbs on his body.

I wouldn't mind this kid being an OLB in a 3-4 and kicking inside to 3T in sub.
