Not bad. I wonder how much final say he actually has.

Really like this hire. With a franchise QB already in place, I expect good things from them.

I miss Grigson already. Good get for the Colts.

I'm sure they'll focus on defense this offseason.

Good higher. Hard not to be an improvement over Grigson

Ballard reportedly wanted to fire Pagano and bring his his own HC, that's just gonna cause friction between Ballard and pagano. Plus I'm skeptical of whether Irsay made this hire while sober.

Great hire. Ballard was a finalist for the Bears GM job a couple years back. He's a long time scout that worked for both the Bears and Chiefs. He was instrumental in building that great Bears defense of the mid 2000's and has worked under a good team in KC the past few years with Dorsey running the show. I'm sure the Colts are in good hands.

Only question now is will Pagano be let go? I think it's inevitable that Dave Toub is named the new HC so why not just do it now? I always dislike when a new GM is paired with a current head coach.

Rumor is, Ballard is really high on bringing in Dave Toub as HC

That would be a coup for Indy. I'm sure that would turn the team around. Ballard was a finalist for the Bears GM spot both when they hired Emery and when they hired Pace IIRC. He's been well loved for quite some time, honestly surprised he has not gotten a shot yet.

hes been looking for the right situation. One that gave him power to do things how he saw fit. A good enough opportunity to leave KC.

Good for him, doesn't get a much easier start then this.

Great hire for my Colts. Seems like he'll be keeping Pagano around as well so that's good.
